If you had the infinite patience required, you could make your family consist entirely of your own characters (1000 chars/accounts)

and since each senior has to be higher than it's juniors, you'd have to train those 1000 accs Rolleyes

Hmm...really wouldn't be too hard, you could train 5 at once by leeching them with your main (limited only by how many comps/friends you have. If you know someone who is logging off, have them log to one of the nibs. At the rate of 5 at a time, you could leech them at HHG to 15ish in about 2-3 hours tops, so...600 hours tops.

Except that's untradeable. (Not considering Karma Scissors here) And its gonna be quite a while til GMS gets MCS2, anyway.

I just read the description again...

it says "you'll lose that title". Does that actually mean that you lose the medal or do you just lose that title underneath your character? (or both)

The title is the medal, after all - I think it should be both.

It's both. But can be regained by talking to Captain Al and ask for the medal again. The title only appears once you equip the medal.

not much, you can bring the family level down to 20 or so and then have 2 level 20 chars, 4 lvl 19, 8 lvl 18, 16 lvl 17, 32 lvl 16, 64 lvl 15, 128 lvl 14, 256 lvl 12, and 512 level 11.

Is level 7 the minimum to be in a family? If it's level 1 then it's pretty easy.

Once you get your family down to a senior under level 20, you can add any noob - and after they're added, they can level to 2 and add their own juniors.

As for getting your family onto Maple Island, that should be possible too - add a junior as a beginner, leave the island, get added into the family.

1000 characters would still take a while, if only to think up the IGNs >_> And waiting for Nexon to email you account confirmations.

Once you have your "King Mule" at level 19, with 1000 beginners below him, you can just slot in any character you want and get the benefit immediately (drop junior, add new char, have them add the 'king mule')

Mailinator ftw!!!

Fun fact: my first account was linked to a mailinator email. Big mistake.

This should answer your question..

This is the easiest way to do it and I don't know why people don't think of it. Was one of the first ideas I came up with and took like no time to check. It's also the easiest and fastest way to make rep mules.

But now since it's posted, everyone will do this. Downside is to keep the medal you lose the slot permanently. I'd rather wait for the quest medal since those stats help me more.

I know that someone will leave your family if they out-level you, but what about if they're the same level as you?

If they leave the family if you're the same level, that means level 200's have no choice but to be a leader. That means anyone who hits 200 loses their senior. What if that senior was your friend you were helping to get a medal? (If they really wanted it.) Not fair for them or you, as he other doesn't get to keep the medal, or you stay at 199 forever.

Mardia finally got its first 1000 member family today.

Needless to say, given the size of our server, another one won't be coming soon...

I'm waiting to see people sell mules as family members lol.

Wouldn't be that hard for, say, 10 people to create a 1011 member family. That's roughly 101 characters each, on roughly 34 accounts. Could be accomplished in a matter of days if people are dedicated enough, and gives each person a massive number of fame mules as well for the fame medal. I'd be willing to do this once I get my DrK to 140 if anyone has the time/dedication in Bello. And, as Bubble said, it's a great way to accumulate tons of rep mules for 2x exp/drop for your family whenever you want it. Assuming you have 2 computers, of course, to ensure that your main gets the buff. Not gonna lie, I'll probably be taking advantage of this shortsightedness on Nexon's part in the near future.

People already have

37 people * 27 chars = 999 which is 9 accounts for 37 people. If you really do it fast, 9 accounts can take on average 15~30minutes.

Just getting the people to do it is a pain. Plus email ip blocks or w/e are annoying unless you bypass.

Quest medal is like same stat so I'd rather just get this to get it.
