Springy Worm?

So I was at Ticks/Tick-Tocks questing on my slinger and I got a Springy Worm.



Anyone know what it does other than look adorable?

Part of the series of quests tied in with Timer, the area boss.

It's for feeding the baby Timer in another quest.
