Questions about the Monster Book in other versions.
#1
How popular is the Monster Book in the other versions, and is there a version where it's most popular?

Also, has anyone ever managed to complete the Monster Book, and if so did they get anything?

hard to answer the first question, as the book is not a tradeable thing, so its just there really, tho i suppose it could be gauged on popularity on how many people talk about it or actually hunt them non stop.

For the second, idk.

1st: I don't know, I think it really depends on the person itself. I use it like the Pokédex in Pokémon (yeah, in Pokémon O_o). First catch my favourites, then the rest. Of course it's very hard if your favourite monster doesn't want to drop it's cards.(I've been saying this for like 1 day already, but please Grupins, DROP CARDS D=.)

2nd: Also don't know, but I think that Isaac is going to complete it one day. Hopefully we all can =D.

The Monster Book can't be completed right now.
If you're high-level enough to be collecting, say, skelly cards, then perforce you can't meet King Slime, Alishar, or Papa Pixie to collect their cards.

We need an event that allows "buying" cards of those level-limited pq bosses, to make it even theortically possible to have a complete book.

how about that pq, i've totally blanked on what its called, but you just fight boss after boss, and they gradually get more difficult. I remember seeing a video of it. Does anyone know the pq's name?

Do the fake bosses drop their respective (real) Monster Book cards?

Please say yes. Frown

Mu Lung Dojo. Those bosses, sadly, do not drop cards. Except the last boss there.

if it keeps up at this rate I doubt it X_X

Both of these questions are kinda impossible to answer. You'd need someone who was really, really tied into the community of that version to answer it. Now we do have representatives from a lot of versions here, but I don't think there are enough to get a great idea of the general feel for the Monster Book in other versions.

Oh, and aside from the PQ bosses or high level bosses, There are also 2 event monsters that they left in the monster book, so even if you somehow did get all those other cards, you couldn't get the whole thing done cause we have NEVER had those events.

Yeah, I hope they have an exchange, during 4th anniversary, to trade Maple Leaves for those unobtainable monster cards.
I, for one, will be completing the entire book one day... regardless of how long it takes.

as to the first person to complete monster book in gms my bets are on a map nuker char (bish to be more exact) though if isaac subjects his mind (and body) to the goal i think he could actually lvl the playing field with the bish and complete it sooner (please don't kill yourself playing 24hrs a day for months till you complete it......)

Yeah, the Mu Lung Dojo. That's too bad they don't drop cards.

On Topic: I really don't think the Monster Book is held very highly in GMS, it seems almost hidden from other players, the only reason why I would check someone's progress on their book is if they told me "I have x cards". Chin (I thought that was a random smile i just noticed, haha)
