Monster Book Quest for those who don't know.

Not sure if anyone knows this yet so I'm posting it.

Once you've collected 5 of a monster's card and you get it's effect head to Tienk in Lith Harbor to add one Quest to your Event section.

I meant to mention this earlier.

Do note that it's only one quest, so regardless of whether you have 5 Skelegon cards or 5 Snail cards, it's the same quest. So, it'd be better to get the quest from Snails and actually use the EXP boost on skelegons. :p

There's not much to it at all. You just get 5 of a monster's card, go to Tienk in Lith Harbor and that's it.

Tienk doesn't even talk to you about the quest.

When you do this quest it takes away that bonus, so what Isaac is saying is that it's better to lose the exp boost from the Snails or any other lower levels monsters rather than the Skelegons.

No. Once you get 5 cards, you're done, so you should call up friends to loot your 6th card instead of wasting it.

Thanks for letting us know. I wasn't gonna get five of any card yet but now I have a reason to do so earlier. I care more about getting one of each card first.

It does nothing but add one to your Quest log, yes any monster, yes.

anyone know if this quest expires? I would assume so if it appears in the event section. I'm having bad luck with card drops. :/ (but maybe I'm just not trying hard enough)

While it pops out when you collect another 5 cards it seems to go back in even if you don't do the Quest again.

I don't think it would, it appearing in the Event section doesn't mean it will go away.

That MV Quest that would pop out was added to the Event section after the patch.

Okies...I am confused...the website states that you can buy a new monster card every 24hrs. I got my first one a pianus (I know I should have gotten a crimison barog), but when I go back after 24rs it doen't offer it? Any one can help me?
