Day 1, I have at least one of all the red ranked cards for 13 total cards, with 6 completed monsters.

Wandering around Vic really made me nostalgically angry. My favorite green shroom tree, gone. That octo swamp map, screwed. You've probably seen HHG (Not too bad).

Good green shroom spots: There's still one pure spawn tree that's okay, Southern Forest 3. Also, if you've got some orange shroom cards to get, the Mushroom Forest map in Zip was okay. Also, the Kerning Middle Forest 2 map from Isaac's Endangered Monsters thread.

Octos, which I didn't expect to have disappeared so much: Hidden-street off the roof of the construction site left of Kerning. Awesome, with a few bubblings.

Plain snails... took me about an hour just to get one card at the map outside Lith.

Discuss map changes, preferably with how they will help in yours and mine card hunting!

i have 6 various vic cards--just 1 each. biggest map change ive seen so far is the ant tunnel dungeon maps... the first drake map beyond evil eye caves is now a mix of copper and regular drakes. and the tunnel that never sees light 2 is now red drakes. drake's meal table is now 100% red drakes + kargoes and the spawn rate is just wow... i actually trained this map over 3 years ago and it was soooo nostalgic...then kind of a wtp moment when all the drakes were red

I haven't been down the Ant Tunnel yet. I'll probably get down there in a day or two.

It's hard to convince myself that most of these changes are good in every regard besides card hunting. Especially for low levels trying to get around. No stray dark axe stumps on the main Perion paths, no Lupin pit of death on the way to Kerning.

My very first card was a regular Slime. How embarrassing.

The only card of the 10 I've gotten so far that I'm happy about is my Malady card ('cause now I don't have to go back there lol).

that was mine too!! i left leafre on the ellinia map and decided to make the slime my first victim

I decided that I was too lazy too take the boat to Orbis to get my 5 Grupin cards(my favorite monster), so I decided to get 5 Slimes first. Took me about 30 minutes, and then I had to log off. Going to get 5 cards of 1 monster of each continent now, except for Leafre.

I havent played yet...looking forward to finding a few later.

They need to fix the droprates on some of these things. Spend a half hour absolutely raping gobies, and not a single thing to show for it. Killed 2 Pianus, no cards (dunno if they drop from left side or not).

I spent 20-30 minute blocks in various monsters with nothing to show for it today. Only 5 cards so far.

Same deal here. Managed to get 2 Cold Eye cards, but that's about the best of it.

I think it'd be great if long-spawn bosses and times-per-day limited bosses like Pianus and Pap had more like a 1 in 25 chance of a card. Maybe 1 in 50 for area bosses. Challenging, but not unreasonable. I'm not looking forward to bosses.

I was able to find most of my first cards for a monster within 15 minutes except the snail card, but there were some outliers that pissed me off. Starting with 4 pig cards and 1 orange shroom cards at the Rainforest East of Henesys, I got my 5th orange shroom card way before the 5th pig one. Bad luck. D:

My first card was a blue mushroom, and so far I have a total of 19 different cards, 1-5 of each depending on type xP im so ocd about my monster book.

My friend got a pap one, I've killed over 50 mano's and got nothing. Also i spend like 2 hours killing gold masks and ghost stumps and got nothing... Starting tho think that they forgot to ad some parts of the world.

Newtie and Skele take like 1~3 hours to get all 5 i heard the exp bonus at newties is 5xx, so thats nice.

I've gotten at least 1 of every card on the first red page and completed the blue snail. And then I found a Sparker card in Aqua =p

I got a Dark Drake card lol

Red page is done. I'll work on getting it to 100% later on.

I spend 2 hours at Dark/Stone Golems and got nothing. I hope it doesnt get rarer the higher the lv...

I must have horrific card luck because I hunt newb monsters for an hour straight and get nothing...

I'm only up to 9 right now, my pride at the moment is Ultra Gray.

Been at newties for 5 and a half hours and no cards . I did get 4 equip drops so far though
