Regarding 'capsules' and Ice Splitter / Flamethrower

Do you 'need' to have these capsules in order to use those skills?

Ex:

Glaze Capsule in order to use Ice Splitter
Blaze Capsule in order to use Flamethrower

If not, then what do these capsules do? Do they multiply the effectiveness and damage of the skill? Also, can you use regular bullets with these skills? Last question, how often do these capsules drop, and how many capsules does a Outlaw hold (counting Ice + Fire)?

AFAIK, you don't need either capsule to use Ice Splitter or Flamethrower, but the damage is halved (?). As for the rest of your questions, no idea.

Capsules make your respective skills do 100% effective damage. Without them, you consume a normal bullet instead and do about half damage. Not sure if it's exactly half, I don't believe anyone has tested it yet.

It is exactly half.

I carry 3 ice and 1 fie. Fire is for lols and 3 ice is plenty. You can get away with 2 without recharging during a 2 hr period.

Well either way, you do more damage with the capsules than without!

ya it seems to be half damage without capsules but you dont need them it does help tho, say ur at newties and freezing the first one, if your slamming the octos and birdy, then that extra 1-1.5K from using a Glaze Capsule can help you kill it in 1 less hit... so it does help>.>

You can still use them without capsules. It's just better damage if you use the capsules, and will make your training alot faster.

Do you mean Blaze Capsules, or a bullet that has a fire attribute?
