Remember this guy...?

Well..............

Spadow was looking through GMS' data and found this in the Monster Book entries :

Lv. : 180\nForm : Spirit\n\nThe monster summoned by an unidentified man known as Kirstun via the Goddess' mirror in the Temple of Time. It may look all cutesy in its small, pink frame, but Pink Vynn is no ordinary monster so beware! Pink Vynn is so powerful, way beyond anything you'd ever dare to imagine. One of its secret powers is reincarnating certain forgotten gods. My guess is that Pink Vynn is probably a monster from another world.

Not to be racist or anything, but once again, that's probably how someone in Korea would say, "Been." Remember the thing with Jenumist -> Zenumist? Probably similar.

Not really. The Japanese don't the letter Z in their language. Vynn is completely different from "been."

How do you guys pronounce it anyways?

Japanese does have "Z" in the language. O_o ざ(za)、す(zu)、ぜ(ze)、 and ぞ(zo). The problem with the translation of Jenumist is that the Japanese version has it spelled as ジェニミスト (Jenimisuto).

Edit : Also, they have 'V's for katakana names, which Pink Been is written in. In JMS, it's ピンクビーン(pinku biin). If it were to be pronounced as a 'V,' they could have just made it ピンクヴィーン (Pinku Viin). =X GMS just sucks at translations. XD

the first way I read this new spelling was "vin".. so this is the first thing I thought of:

v and b are the same sound in korean. for example, pink been in korean is 핑크빈 while "valkyrie" is 발키리. ㅂ is the v/b sound.

the new name would technically be pronounced "pink veen" using the original korean pronunciation.

Then they're missing the letter J, right? I thought it was either Z or J, and went with Z.
