Ask a Bowman Thread.
Yenno, if Bomb still works like it used to, it does nearly the same damage on 6 monsters. "Used to" being that it multiplies when it crits, not adds. I threw some numbers together real quick and here's what I got. These numbers are in average damage per hit.

Bomb
5 Monsters: 1322.4%
6 Monsters: 1624%

Inferno
5 Monsters: 1410%
6 Monsters: 1692%

Hurricane (6 arrows; the same amount of time it takes to cast Inferno or Bomb)
1 Monster: 1392%

Honestly though, I don't do any mobbing anymore unless I'm in the middle of a mob and can use AR. I'd rather not piss off a lot of monsters at once, especially when they can use defense up. Hurricane just assassinates the first monster in line so they don't get a chance to retaliate.

Hi guys Im a level 152 marksman with 45 sp....
so far I got
SE:30
MMB:20(failed the 30 book 4x so far cant seem to find anymore)
FP:1
Pierce:1
Snipe:1
DB:1
I was just wondering if I should start putting points into MW after gettin MMB to 27 since all I do is boss/CG ae right side(anego bfs and pap), and pierce is kind useless in gms.

If you boss a lot, Snipe is an excellent choice. It'll increase your kill time on Anego more than you'd think.

Indeed it does.

Well, technically it does add, but it adds to 100%. The damage percentage of Arrow Bomb is actually a hidden multiplier; that's the only way to my knowledge that they're able to make a skill deal differing amounts of damage to different monsters.

If you are at CG a lot you could put the rest into Blind after maxing Snipe. Blind seems to help a lot from what I have heard others say about CG Sealing them all the time...dont find they seal that often, I go through about 120 All-cures an hour with 21 Blind, warriors say they got through like 400 an hour.

Comparing archers with warriors is like comparing apples and oranges. Not all warriors are identical either. My it's drks with rush and slow crusher that gets them sealed a lot. With my hero i used 10-20 all cures an hr at the old CG map (never tried the new one). Anyways i know nothing about mm, so i'll stop interrupting. Goodluck with your build, whatever you decide.

Don't do this. It's a huge waste of points.

I'm actually wondering more about how you got to 152 without a clue where to put your points and with 45 SP, only 10 being blocked by a lack of mastery book passing. Anyways, pick between snipe and pierce.

It isnt, just ask those who train at CG like Sybaris, xReiLynneX and others. Nothing else will help if you train at CG, as much as Blind will.

Really? Cause I use about 120 all cures an hour at CGs too.

Even if your Blind theory is true, Blind will only really help you at CGs. It'll be a moderate pot-reducer in other places... but that's all Blind really adds up to: a slight pot-reducer. I would massively recommend just about anything else (Snipe and Pierce especially) that can actually help you kill faster.

Snipe and Peirce dont help you kill faster at CG as those skills arent used at all.

Theoretically Blind stops you getting Sealed which increases your time attacking as you arent having to pot as ofter which helps you kill faster. lol

I don't know if anyone's told you, but you can gain experience at places other than CGs.

I know...but the guy told us all he did was Anego, Boss and use AE at CG, which is why I mentiond one possible way of spending his SP.

i wouldn't think that Blind would work to stop Seal, because CGs cast Seal as a skill, and not as an attack. The Seal skill only has a chance of working, so I can see why you might think it has an effect, but I wouldn't really trust in it until I saw some solid numbers.

in this case he should pump snipe to increase his single monster dps. also move to newtys or skeles.

Naricain pendant question:
Should i keep my ranger's base str low and use ht pend to equip arund/metus. Or should i raise my base str to equip the Naricain pend+arund/metus? My ranger is a work in progress and i'm not very serious about it. But knowing that at 200, base str will be fixed at 23 minimum, maker skill may be released in the future, and 2nd and 3rd ht pend eggs might be able to be scrolled...i am definitely striving to keep my base str as low as possible (preferably 23str or as close to 23str as possible if i do have to add more str). I am not a stat-whore on my ranger by far, not like my hero but i'm still a perfectionist and i would like to avoid ap resetting my base since all my mesos is going into mts to hp wash.

Follow-up question:
Plus, i have a 12atk and a spare 10atk Naricain pend...so before it becomes untradable which character should i put the 12atk on: my 200 hero which i still use and boss often. Or my 10x ranger which can't equip the pend yet till 110 and is also missing the base str to wear a real bow+Narc pend (i could prob hold off till 15x's till i can cwkpq on bm and try to reloot an 11atk in the distant future...but since my hero is always cwkpqing then relooting on it is a much easier possibility).

there is the answer. just put the 12 ont he archer ( i imagine you train that one since the 200 doesnt need to train) and reloot on your hero till you get a 11 or 12.
