haha oh wow.

If they don't do it now, when there's only one map per channel to check, what makes you think they'll be checking when there's 50 maps per channel?

Hilarity ensues.

They can easily pick and choose which dungeons are involved in that and leave the high level ones out.

They can, but they sure as hell won't.

If they're smart they'll leave that event to die and maximize profits by having another gach box event anyway. We all know that's the best event they've ever made for them and us, why ruin everything by bringing back that monstrosity of a failure?

Yes. Win.

I'm still on the "Don't get your hopes up for Kent/Skele/Newt Mini Dungeons because they may not be coming" side. People always get their hopes up for something like this, that hasn't necessarily been announced as to which ones are coming out, and then, when they don't come, they are devastated. Tongue

I believe we have 4 dungeons right now (mushroom, pig, golem, and bunny), and there's 4 left (skele, newtie, roid, and kenta).

It's fairly obvious based on the fact that they gave us half the dungeons last time that we'll get the remaining (and best) ones this time.

The minidungeons were a lowbie event more or less, designed to prove that "anyone can do it". They wouldn't do the same with the higher level ones because the compensation wouldn't be there. The boxes were the high level end to that coin, since the "good" boxes only came {easily} from things a lowbie couldn't touch.

As for them being failures - They did it twice. They don't do something a second time if it didn't make them money. Both events will be back. Most likely around August.

They only did it twice because they realized everyone was saving up for the prizes that required way more crystals than the event allowed them to obtain. I think they acknowledged that in an announcement or something, don't remember.

This may be a dumb question but....

Is there any way for people to go into the same mini dungeon map if they wanted to party eachother (maybe by dooring eachother?)? Or would they have to resort to the old maps we already have?

EDIT: Nvm, I found the answer in one of the previous posts Smile Poast

DrRusty Wrote:I'm pretty sure the jms and kms players here said the skeles mini-dungeon spawn was incredible (much faster and heavier spawn than the original map). Could anyone confirm it for me?

Yep.. the spawn rate in "Revived Memory" is almost 1.5x more than "The Dragon Nest Left Behind"..
both maps have different name but similar platforms, footfolds and etc..

Many players in MSEA prefer training in MD than normal maps.

Malaysia has one too..

Even with the MP3 minidungeon released, people are still ksing at MP3 original map. Its far better than the minidungeon.

Yeah. The spawn in that map is crap.

That means Masteria isn't mainstream either Rolleyes <3 version exclusives.

They just came out like a week ago, and they're the first ever version exclusive minidungeons. It's pointless to talk about them like they're 100% certain to come because that's far from the truth.

So essentially the version that released them had no clue what they were doing and that's why they're so bad? Biggrin

Hm. Sort of like the new CWK "single spawn" rooms.

The new rooms aren't bad. Eek The only one that really sucks is the windraider one. The firebrand one is meh and the stormbreaker and nightshadow maps are amazing.

If you had to compare them it'd be that compared to the solo caves, since the only one that's any good is the stormbreaker (+ windraider), nightshadow (+ windraider), and firebrand (+ windraider) caves.

I'm referring to layout, all four are the same.
They pretty well suck ass for any sniping class.
None of them have decent platforms to hit from safely and even ultimates are hampered by the contours of the map and size, limiting to half at best. Even crimson guardians have safe spots you can sit and snipe 1/2 the map from compared to those four rooms.

They're really more designed for melee than anything, or people willing to play their class like it was made for melee ( ie: mages who suck it up and take the hits to get close enough to use attacks).

Wow, its going to be even easier to leach to lvl 200 if the dungeons come out.

Anyways, the new cg map is amazing for DrK + NL,Shadower,Bucc(or any class that normally don't have enough hp to train there safely).

And? Haven't you seen the maps they've already released? To name a few:

Upper ascent - Snipe spots galore with a nice mob ready and waiting to be killed.
Lower ascent - There's a reason this place is godly for NLs past 85.
Nightshadow cave - Basically equal to sniping newties.
Stormbreaker cave - Replaces squids. Snipe spots galore.

The old maps favored ranged classes. I agree that the design could have been thought out more, but i can't really complain considering the whole concept of pure spawn maps was thrown together asap.

Besides, ranged classes don't have it so bad at the new maps. Hell nightshadows is amazing for corsairs and archers train there no problem. I'd say they have it better off, since ranged classes/mages have more AoE skills than melee classes do, which is extremely helpful in those maps.

I wouldn't say archers train there no problem, Typhons > Nightshadows at every turn, I think, but it's definitely no nightmare training there. They should really increase the distance between platforms, though, so that Nightshadows can't jump up and hit you.
