I was kind of hoping posting droplists would be postponed for a while because nothing is more annoying than having to sit around for an hour with 20 other people waiting for a quest boss to spawn and hoping you're the one who makes the kill. It's going to happen for the first few weeks already (Mano...) but knowing which ones drop the good things they'll be there all of the time making it hard for those who just want to complete the quest to get it done.
Eh, if it's not here it's somewhere else. Sucks though.

Well then, that's what I meant then. What I was referring to was the info in Cyanne's post, which lists all the drops of the given monster. Im not sure.. what do you call those lists? I just call them item drop lists, lol.

There any way to check what the spawn timer is?

As for spawn locations/timers, Area Bosses are purely controlled server side, so there's nothing in the data to indicate either one. I don't have any approximations for that.

If someone were to time it and give you the data, would you be able to add it on? Because I know that Fox, Elija, Tae Roon and King Clang spawn <exactly> 40 minutes to the second of when its last killed, least that was the time that Ive found when recycling between the 4 bosses.

Yeah, if people want to give me the spawn timers, I'll add them. Just saying it's not in the data so I can't tell you what it is from raw numbers.

You reminded me of that... Is that still on SP? I can't remember where I found it. Is it under kmst extractions possibly?
OT: I think area bosses info, where they spawn, spawn timers, drop lists possibly, attacks, map spawn areas, etc, etc, could all go in the new boss thread that Fiel wants to make. That'd be a great place for all the info.

That'd be a great place for all the info. It's not up on here any more, as it was using the GMS database for items and such and it had to go when all that did. I think that NoJobNoRules has a download link in his sig for it, though.

It's 45 minutes not 40. :f6: If you're going between bosses you might have gotten your times wrong I've spend a few days hunting just Elija Mano and Yeti. and they all spawn exactly 45 minutes after you killed them. I even had a stop watch counting down from 45 minutes to 0.

I think the drop rates will be altered in gMS, as it was in MSEA. Chaos Scrolls definitely don't drop (they don't even exist in MSEA, as of yet) and I'm highly doubting rare items like Flaming Katana and Glowing Whip drop from there, either.
Is it possible to find out the drop list from an extraction? If so, could someone do one for MSEA's Area Bosses? (We have all Area Bosses, by the way, but lacking quests from Dewu and Timer)

We just said up there like 3 times that drop lists aren't in the data. Since neither MSEA nor GMS has released the monster book, you can hardly count on either of those.

And Im almost positive its 40. Just cause they spawn at 45 minutes, doesnt mean the spawn time isnt less; it just means no one was on the map when the spawn time was up. Also, Yeti's spawn time is 15 minutes and nowhere close to 45.

I'm not sure about Yeti, but Mano and Elija spawn in 45 minutes no more no less. I've spend days there.

P.s. I cycled the channels from 9 to 8 and then waited for it to spawn in 9 again.
I've timed Yeti and it's either 14~18 minutes or 14 or 18 minutes I think the last one cause the ones I timmed where around 14 or 18 minutes.

As you may notice since you commonly hunt Snowman, but he doesn't have a spawn notice when he appears. Not coincidentally, his spawn timer is in the data - 15 minutes. However, like with other free spawning bosses such as Pianus and Mushmom, there's a slight variance with him. Because his timer's so short, though, it means his spawn timer doesn't vary as wildly as others.

The area bosses in GMS will have speech or not yet? (I mean, after this patch...)

Amnesia Wrote:The area bosses in GMS will have speech or not yet? (I mean, after this patch...) No, they probably won't. This boss speech is a relatively new feature in KMS, it may be a while before we see it. Can't be sure though, I would have said the same about Family system a week ago.

For example, if a 15 minute timer means it can spawn anywhere from 13.5 to 16.5 minutes, then it's 10%. Then apply it to BMM, which spawns around 48 hours and you'll get around 43.2 hours to 52.8 hours to spawn...
:f6:
Also, if his spawn timer is in the data, why can't you find the spawn timer for other bosses?

... Guess that was a bit too subtle.
The reason I can see Snowman's spawn time is related to the fact that he doesn't have a spawn announcement. If the boss has a spawn announcement, then its spawn is 100% server side, so I can't know how long it takes. Snowman is the only area boss that doesn't have one, and so he's the only one I can check.
