[MSEA] Review of Patch V0.69: Singapore/Malaysia Upgrades! New Training Spots!
#41
I wish GMS had those prices... MP pots shouldn't cost the same as HP >_> It's not like that in any other version.

The Targa hats look awesome, though the expression is permanent. They should've designed the hats only to have the ears and the hat... >_>

They can always change it like the maple helm

As I said in an earlier post, there are no safe platforms. A BSP from my alliance managed to afk there without getting hit though, but i guess that's pure luck. The reason? Targa and Scarlion both have AoE attacks. Not that it does much damage, anyway. Another option of a safe spot is have a warrior rush Targa/Scarlion to either side while you stand on the other. Not confirmed as well, though.

As for damage, yeah, what i heard was from guild/alliance mates, so it may not be all correct. It seems that the touch damage is close to HT's?

You're seriously obsessed with mice.

Conserver Wrote:same as zkm 2 times per 24 hrs (i think)

and it is like zkm,1 person can onli have 1 hat each (though i do not noe whether Targa and Scarlion Hat can be held together)

Yes, you can have both.

antikel Wrote:My guild alliance has already started such a service in D/E world. But is it true that you need 8k HP at least?

Yeah. As above, touch damage is more than 7k. Unless you're a ranged attacker. And your alliance is fast. Whats the price? ZHelms are going for 15m+ here in Bootes.

antikel Wrote:It's a bug, I guess. I have trouble completing the quest now thanks to wolf spiders. *Curses Asiasoft*

I'm worse off than you. I PINEAPPLING WENT ALL THE WAY TO OMEGA BEFORE I FOUND OUT FROM A GUILDMATE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO LEAVE NLC AT ALL. Asiasoft should have at least edited the quest info.

Holy pineapple, get away from me!

Jk. Hmm, ZHelms are kinda worthless now. And i'm not sure the price of Targa/Scarlion helms... Anyone?

Thanks for posting this. I was about to scroll my Zhelm. Guess I'll wait awhile.

I like hats that cover up as much as possible, regardless of how ridiculous they may look.

It''s also very silly looking so it'd at least somewhat discourage an e-thug attitude many nibs would have after getting their uber helm.

Nah, now they'll think they're in some sort of gang. Like the Joker... oh god. I can just imagine a group of Scarlion Kids coming up and saying 'Why so serious?' over and over. Horrifying.

I love ya (:

Well I am not as able to visit the new Malaysia bosses as you are, but they sure do look rather attractive.

One interesting observation is that Asiasoft edited some of the NLC quests and thereby tweaked the storyline. :/

Tongue

They didn't tweak the storyline. Nothing made sense at all.

And I havent been to the Malaysia bosses yet - just heard stuff from guildies, alliance mates, and my BL.

Yeah, they didnt still the same.

And i faced the two bosses. Just summoned for fun. Stuns are that common. Targa is just pure annoying.

Over 9,000 people are familiar with gangs. Few would make a gang based on the Joker, and even fewer would recognize the concept behind their gang. If anything they'd just laugh because they will be wearing hats that are even bigger than their head, and I'd bet most of the kids wouldn't even know the phrase "Why so serious?", because they are too young to watch The Dark Knight.

./serious business off

Just compared MSEA NLC quest text to GMS's, they're identical. Nothing was changed as far as quests go.
#54
I feel so weird when the quest NPCs mentioned about the Purplewood Forest when SEA didn't get that.
#55
Targa/Scarlion fight looks like loads of fun. We need more mobile bosses. Hope that this comes to GMS soon, I need reason to level. D;
-Does MSEA have a higher drop rate or is that many scrolls normal? [I mean, she threw away a Dagger ATK and a Glove ATK like they're nothing ;-;]
-I realize there was a warrior using Rush but during the Targa fight when it jumped up really high, it almost seemed like right after that it Rushed through the party, or was that the warrior's fault?
Targa w/Rush = instant ranged death lolz.
Lol@pot prices as well, are Ales supposed to be that much? o____o

Ahh I see.

Sorry I haven't been on Maple lately so pardon my noobiness. XP

In that case Nexon really needs to do some work to check their data before porting them over to new versions. Apart from story discrepancies, the quests seem to have missing loopholes in terms of the story's flow as well (Amoria background anyone?)

They have amoria, so i see nothing wrong with that loophole.

Again, I don't see anything in the NLC quest text that's nonsensical, aside from the improperly dropping quest items. Maybe explain a bit with some specifics.
Saint Wrote:I feel so weird when the quest NPCs mentioned about the Purplewood Forest when SEA didn't get that.
Doesn't MSEA have Purplewood? Purplewood Forest is only two maps in Amoria that come before the PQ area. As I recall, MSEA skipped the Purple Plains and instead went with Purplewood Forest because that's where the monsters to get the keys you need to enter APQ are. So yeah, actually, SEA does have Purplewood forest, though you may never have been there if you're unmarried.

My bad, sorry.. I got mixed up between the plains and the forest. >.>
