Skylit, keep your branch nose til karmar scissor comes out, and then you can sell it.

the noses from the quest expire. so holding them until karma scissors isnt an option. if you have a gach version, i suppose that plan would work then.

You can try both. Takes two slots, but even more likely to get RESULTS

I went for avoid scroll on mine, mainly because as a thief I like to have the maximum avoid I can get, and a few more DEX couldn't hurt me, I already have plenty enough HP with washing, naricain etc... anyway it's not like those +100HP will make Pink Bean easier. IMHO all classes except mages should go with avoid scroll

I feel for ya, I got a gach nose today (finally after trying to get one the last couple weeks) and scrolled it with the same results. The first 4 or something scrolls went well - got it up to 9 str, then the rest screwed it over..

Sigh~

Now I'm rushed to try and get another gach nose before this event ends too.

Got my nose from gach and tried a few of these, turned out to be 10str 6 slots. Then I used one of the avoid scrolls and then kept going with it. Turned out to be 14str, 3 dex 1 slot left then last slot made it 9str, 3dex Should have kept at 14str 3 slot then just use one more avoid scroll.

Fake noses, I made a 19str and 15luk on mage. And 9 int and 13str on bowman. Still didn't get any int nose on mage after 8-9 tries

dam, i wanna get one of the untradeable ones from gacha on my ranger. If i can get that to ~10 Str with a few dex, i could be set up to reset some of my str

Someone's gotta bring it up. Would using these saps on the gach noses be considered "glitch abuse"?

These saps are clearly meant for the noses that expire given during the event (comparable to the white slate glitch; white scrolls protect the slot from disappearing and shouldnt give you one back) and for whatever reason, Nexon stuck the wrong nose in gach, resulting in these saps working on those noses too (the maker of white scrolls/clean slates didnt anticipate the fact of the two being used together, thus resulting in an almost 100% chance of getting a "free" slot). Most people were unable to white slate because of the immense cost (300+ for a white scroll + another 100-200 for the clean slate) while this is more accessable (item that comes from gach + a "scroll" that drops like candy). Hell, one can even say that this is a more "obvious" glitch (white slating had like what? a few hundred replies debating/arguing whether it was a glitch or not) because other versions have had this event (least I think... someone correct me if Im wrong) and their saps only worked for the noses given to the event, which are meant to expire.

Someone correct my logic here but if you all went on a glitch witch hunt for Harrison getting a +6 on his Purple Adventurer Cape, then shouldnt that exact same thing be going on for these people who have these noses? Perhaps Im just being biased because I cant gach a nose if my life depended on it (and trust me, Ive tried; 150+ tickets with no luck) or perhaps Im missing something here but... yeah, I see some discrepency in reactions to "glitches" here...either that or some major flaw in my reasoning of the situation.

I don't think using 150+ tickets without any luck is cheaper than buying a white scroll...

Because the nature of human jealousy forces people to attack others when they can't exploit the same glitch. When people could not mirror my actions to produce a +6 cape, their aggression surfaced from their id and unable to repress that, they spoke through their anger in various illogical ways.

Anyways, I'll go ahead and say this isn't a glitch. There is nothing on the tree sap to indicate that it shouldn't work on it, and since that's the one that comes from the Gachapon, who's to say that Nexon didn't intentionally stick it there?

Or you can look at it the other way around and say that Nexon put the Gachapon item into the event. Either way, it's still not a glitch, rather, a feature of these tree saps to work on all items called "Tree Branch Nose".

Seriously? The saps are clearly intended for the event ones only.
