B> less skills to put on my keyboard

Torpedo will replace FT
FT will replace Gaviota (bye bye)
Not sure where the hell Rapid Fire will go, probably over booster
Booster and Hypnotize will go wherever I still have room f3

the extra Battleships on the right joystick are for when I accidentally mess up on my demount timing and switch the configuration without getting off battleship.. it doesn't happen often, though. I hope I explained that properly lol.

the only time I ever use it is in mu lung PQ at the night market boss, and I don't even go there anymore since I got my black belt. homing is pointless in regular training for me right now. what situations do you use it in? o_o

I guess that's a difference between regional versions.. cause I'm able to kill all the area bosses on kMS (that I'm able to take a hit from) before they summon anything, and none of the ones I go to ever have any other monsters in the way. with stuff like bigfoot and anego, I'm sure homing would be useful.

I have homing set on my spacebar though so if I ever need it, I just tap it real quick and go back to my controller. it doesn't slow me down or anything lol.

Oh, if it's on your spacebar, I guess it's no problem. When I fight area bosses, I basically run up to them, jump, and smack them with a Homing before proceeding to fight. Not always useful, but it helps when they do summon. I also have to use Homing every time Pianus/Pap dispels, so I like to keep it handy.

Once in a while, I do find it helpful to kill a monster in the back of a group at Newties.

Well, i see a lot of keys you could open up there.

] - Quickslot
' - Chat+
, - Monsterbook
N - NPC chat

All things you can do without. If we ever do get Monsterbook, you can just add that back.

You could possibly dump 1 or 2 of Buddy/Party/Guild since they all bring up the same window anyway.

The macro on 3 is octo and goviota and on 4 is a wings/recoil. Once I get more skills I will most likely remove dash from Q and then invisible shot and grenade as I never use these two skills at windraiders and I plan on training at stormbreakers and then nightshadows which have the same map layout and training style.

Thing is, I actually use all of those hotkeys. I use the chat/quickslot buttons frequently to free up screen space when I need it. NPC chat is extremely useful; it makes talking to NPCs so much faster, and doesn't require me to reach for my mouse all the time. Monster book I can free up, but I don't like the idea of sticking skills in the middle of all those menus. Same with Buddy/Party/Guild.

The only keys I'd really consider moving are Spouse chat and World map.

Try moving booster/bullseye to the `/~ key. If you have a buff macro, put that there.
Or seeing as you aren't carrying white pots or mana elixirs, you could move your all cures and pizzas there.
And you should probably take monster book off.

On my laptop, Ctrl/Shift/End/PgDn are all very close to my arrow keys and are awesome for pots. PgUp/Home/Ins/Del are located further up, so they're pretty much just used for pots I pick up while training. Del looks like a good place to put Booster, I guess.

I can't imagine why any Corsair would have a buff macro, lol. We only have one buff (not counting MW, which I won't get until 17x).

Well, unless you go through a lot of All Cures, you could probably put that further away. And if you have a Recoil+Wings macro, you could try replacing Recoil with that and rely on manually canceling the macro.

controllers are pretty cheap.. in all my time on MS I've gone through 2 wireless gamepads (one I broke while taking it apart to clean the buttons hahah) and I'm currently using a wired logitech rumblepad (which I plan to replace with a cordless version asap). the cordless controllers cost $30-$40 and the wired ones cost about $28.. I 100% recommend this controller. I remember using this one back at zombies on gMS.. I NEVER lost a map when I had to go do something. the controller worked while I was in completely different rooms.. AMAZING range.

& yep, joy2key is free.
