AdAware finishes in 30 minutes. This thing lags my computer like crazy and tells me that it'll take until tomorrow to finish? -_-"
If Kaspersky is too slow for your computer, use NOD32. It's a bit more complicated to configure, but scans faster for AdAware. Finished my scan of half a terabyte in about 20 minutes.

Mm'kay, it looks like there isn't anything weird on your computer. Since you've had this problem for a long time, I guess it would be a waste if I asked if you remember if you installed any programs before the problem occurred. I do have another question, and I know it's going to sound a little weird. Does your computer speed up the explorer opening if you're disconnected from the internet/LAN/etc?

I guess you should just get some more RAM or try some of the suggestions in my last few posts. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.

It's ok. Thanks for your attempt though. I really do appreciate it.
No, it doesn't speed up when I'm disconnected. I ended up uninstalling Kaspersky. D:
Let's see, the best I can do is to use window+R and run C: drive. It just gets annoying whenever I try to open My Computer.
