Reccomendations of Headset?
#1
I want to purchase a headset mainly for Ventrilo/Skype etc., but I'm not sure what to get. In short, I want a comfortable around the back(not over the head), Headset, for under $30 that people have good things to say about.

Also an vendors of the said product would be greatly appreciated. TY in advance.

Logitech, preferably USB. I've used logitech for years for computer gaming. Spend $29 on their generic model and you'll do fine.

I've seen some logitechs and people say their somewhat decent in quality but they are uncomfortable over the ears.

The one I'm currently looking at is this one here http://www.headsetzone.com/audio645usb.html If i can find it cheaper from a trusted retailer.

I've never had any that feel uncomfortable...in fact, most times, they're more comfy than others. Just make sure you don't go too cheap. Invest a little, get alot.

So if you had to recommend a model, which one would it be?

Ok, well one over $30 isn't really in my budget right now, I just want to get a functioning comfortable one, that will last will last me 5 or so months.

I found this logitech one, think it's somewhat decent? http://cgi.ebay.com/Logitech-Internet-Ch....m14.l1318

That looks a bit too cheap. I bought mine for 15$. This isn't logitech, or a fairly large name but its great. Never any static on CS:S, I really recommend it. It also has comfortable padding, and the mic isn't right in your face.

edit:

Woops, Sorry.

I use a Labtec headset that I bought for about 8 dollars (12 dollars with shipping) on Amazon. It's comfy, simple. It's cheap. It works.

If you can afford to get one shipped from England i'd suggest the Creative HS-600, its around £30(pounds not dollars), and has very good sound quality, nice padding to keep your ears comfortable and a fully moving mic which you can bend into the shape you want. I'm aware in dollars this would be a little pricey, around $60 plus P&P but its a nice investment and it fully works on american PCs, my older PC is an american Dell.
