how rare is it? i've kill over 150 Lycanthropes, and found two equips and still have nothing...

I think I spent about 3 hours at lycantharopes looking for my one. It's really not a fun item to get =S

When 4th job was first released, some people camped lycanths. for days.

Just try to relax while hunting. I don't know how long I was there, but by the end I had about 80 toenails. But what ended up happening was when I started talking to my friend on Skype and I was more chill about hunting it was like "BOOM THERE." But I've heard reports of people being there for up to 4 hours and as low as 15 minutes.

Just curious, what's this thing used for?

It's the last part in the Series of Quests to obtain the Blizzard Skill for Ice and Lightning Mages. (Their Ultimate)
Finding it depends heavily on luck, some people find it in their first couple of kills while others take days for it to find.

Edit: Oh, and it's a Quest Item so no other Job can ever find it.

Wow, what the heck? Do the F/P Archmages get just as bogus a time trying to obtain their Ultimate? I can't really imagine trying to hunt a monster that takes forever to spawn just for the sake of getting a crucial skill. What other skills in 4th for any job are a peach to get?

From what I heard from friends, the range for finding it has taken anywhere from 5 min - 3 days. I found mine in 3 hours.

Well.. If you suck at Jump Quests you are kinda screwed as a Bishop. The Resurrection Quest requires you to do a Jump Quest in the dark, after that you will obtain a 'Deathly Fear' as a proof you know what it's like to fool death. It's not all that hard but some people have such a hard time with it they let a friend do it for them.
Other than that there are probably alot more annoying 4th Job Quests but I don't know all of them by heart so I really can't think of any right now, sorry xD

Shadowers have to go to Omega. Thats a pain in itself xD

It depends.. sometimes low sometimes high rate..
But most maplesea players buy 2x drop rate cards before they go hunting for etc, skills quests need.
