2nd and 3rd eggs in other versions

I'm not sure if this is better suited for amherst, but it's not so basic, I think.

What I'm wondering is in what versions of MS can the HT pendant be scrolled beyond the first egg now? If possible, I'd like to know about when these updates happened, or maybe the order of versions.

The only version I'm almost 100% sure about it CMS. I believe I've heard that they can also be scrolled fully in kms and jms, but I'm not sure about it. If it's possible to scroll them three times, was there a time when two was the limit, or has it always been 3?

The reason I'm posting this is to try to figure out if I can expect our version to get the 2nd and 3rd egg scrolling, and have some sort of guess as to when it might happen.

I don't think any other version allows the HT pendant to be scrolled with more than one egg. As far as I know, only KMST allowed it but then was removed. Horntail Pendants are supposed to be finished with Chaos Scrolls.

No, they're not meant to be 2nd and 3rd scrolled with another egg. KMS allows you to redo the quest if you lose your scrolled pendant I believe, but that's about it.

Not all items can be karma-scissor'd so I guess that can't be done.

I'm pretty sure he plays JMS and would actually know about it. The 'I believe' is about CMS.

Pendant karma'd to mule -> Get new one + egg. drop that pendant-> karma old one back, egg -> Karma back to mule -> new pendant and egg -> drop pendant and get other pendant back.

Of course, I have no idea if that actually works.

theres only 1 picture ive seen with someone that had a +2/+3 pend, and that was either from KMST or a private server..
if you could use another egg in jMS, im sure someone could easily dig up quite a few pictures to back it up.

While this is evidence, i do believe this is a tad odd. Isn't a +3'd supposed to give like 5xx def?

It's a technical reason, I assume, something to do with a limit on programming, although I really don't know much about it, something to do with only 256 (16 squared) values being possible for it I suppose, (including 0)

when wizet made the game they probably assumed there will be equip with this much DEF, so they only allocated one byte for it (0-255)
