Why don't you CPQ since you won't have to spend a thing on pots. Unless you hate PQ's?

From late 30s-mid 40s I trained at ratz. Of course, this was before retz were released, so I'd suggest them. I hear their exp is pretty fancy for mobbers.

MP eater doesn't help very much at the last stages of the game, but up to a point it helps sufficiently that you'll waste few MP pots. If you are concerned about MP you might want to put some points in it.

Granted, there are skills more important than MP eater, so you might want to get those first. Leveling slower but with less potions is not really fun.

Personally I didn't use any MP pots until i left Voodos/Hoodos annd went to Himes. So for me it was around lvl 81.

Max Teleport > Max Meditate.

Uh, I'm stuck at 106! >=( I can't find any himes partys or gobies! and leeching is my only option (i've been leeching from 70 to 106 *Hasnt trained once*) And I wanna change that!
I need better control of my mage.
Anyways, I wanna go to wyverns but I get bored after 2 hours, Viking is out cause I dont have TS, and Himes burns my pots if I solo! HELP FrownFrownFrownFrownFrownFrownFrown

There's your problem. Wyverns are great exp if you can't find parties. If you get bored there, it's either because you're suffering from leeching syndrome or you get bored too easily.

Tried searching, didn't produce much. When should I cap my LUK as a cleric-to-be? I'm currently poorish (20m), but I could get rich(er) if I wanted. I may quit my cleric before getting it to a decent level anyway. Where around do you think I should cap it? (If I do decide to stick with a cleric, I will be getting a lot of money to pay for a zhelm and good equips.)

Another question, what's the difference between staffs and wands? Which is recommended?

I capped my luck @ 60. With a zhelm and deputy star, you can get your luk to 80 which should be enough for a Doomsday staff.

Luck should be based on the equips you choose to use. The problem is you never know what your final weapon/armours are going to be, which means you might end up with a lot more luck than you'd like. All luck mages I know have more luck than they need. A few reset a huge amount of luck to be luckless.

I'd probably go luckless as your equips will be limited (fewer choices, may be a good or bad thing), you'll be stronger than average and never have to purchase AP reset to lower your luck. Elemental Wands prove to be a great reason to go luckless.

The difference between Staffs and Wands would be the speed of the weapon. Some staffs have speed at Fast. From what I've been told, weapon speed affects Fire/Poison mages only. Other than that, just aesthetical differences between Staffs and Wands. I personally like Wands better.

Thanks for both your answers, guys. Kevo or anyone, I didn't remember to go luckless (which I had planned), so now I have around 13 LUK. This isn't going to affect me much, is it? Should I just leave it? (If it matters, I could restart easily. Level 11 isn't a big feat and I'd rather not waste the NX.)

13 Luck shouldn't be a big deal unless you're dead set about maximizing your magic. One of my I/L friends achieved a Magic Score of 380. She had equipped items that did require her to add luck (after resetting a ton of luck to be luckless). You never know, the added luck could benefit you but probably not.
