Masteria Expansions, Names and the proof for each
IsaacGS Wrote:It's definitely east, and probably north as well. I sort of expect it to be down the path off the boomer map, as right now it's a strange dead end.

Yea, that map is definitely going somewhere!

Also have you seen that glitch in the NLC Subway with the mage door?

When it was working yeah. It doesn't work any more.

Oh, and there are a couple other things that I didn't mention in the first post, but I feel like they are important.

1. I don't believe that Crimson Guardians are under the control of the Twisted Masters. I think that they're operating independently, and that they've always been outside the keep as an obstacle to guard it. The reason I say this is that Jack implies the Crimson Guardians helped to break down the Lightning Shield, and inside the Keep the Archer statue states that Ridley experimented on Crimson Guardians to make Master Guardians. So, I'm thinking that the CGs will protect the Keep no matter who is controlling it.
2. I don't think that the Grandmasters were necessarily the leaders of the 4 guilds. I think that the Grandmasters presided over the whole keep, while the guild leaders were only concerned with their own people. Now, in some cases, such as Ryo, he's both a Shadowknight and the Thief Grandmaster, but I don't think that was true of all the guilds.
From my PQ (I made sure to note EVERYTHING I could.)

Hope it helps! I also have an SS of all of Jack's text in case it's important.

This would also explain the 'Master Pirate' not requiring an extra faction.
Er, instead of trying to make his face out through the hologram, why not just look at the mark of naricain? His face and arms are clearly visible...
Was it "Steel Fist Jack" that traveled to Masteria? Or was it a different pirate-like character?Hurt

Yeah, he's the only pirate figure here.
Hmm... 5 guilds... And they thought up all these names and past events, too... Perhaps, instead of Ereb, they might open up the Crimsonwood in the past, and let characters become Stormcasters, Windreavers, Shadowknights, and so forth. I believe it would work out quite nicely. Smile
IsaacGS Wrote:A hologram of Naricain is seen in the Secret Chamber right before you exit the Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest. All the Twisted Masters carry a Mark of Naricain on them, proving that they are under his command.

I had a very interesting thought when I read this. Since the Twisted Masters carry this Mark, why is it that we as maplers want to wear something so evil?

I'm guessing later in time when Naricain actually plays a bigger role, we will have to choose between Subani and Naricain. Naricain probably planned something like this, to give us a taste of what his power can do; make you incredibly strong. I'm guessing in the next area, which is no doubt the Krakian Jungle, we will meet up with Subani somehow.

I think it would be a very interesting idea to the game to choose between good and evil, if you want to do whats right or have power.
But knowing the current maple community, everyone's going to choose naricain for the pendant =p
Who said that thing about Back-In-Time Masteria? That would be epic. <3
Actually, any town back in time sounds fun right about now.

Really depends on what you get with Subani. Could give no or little wAtk, but a lot of Stats?

I think this is something KMS is going to do, with Cygnus and Black Magician disciples. I don't really see it happening in Masteria though. We already use a lot of artifacts with Naricain's mark (Dark Scrolls, Crystal Ilbi, etc.) but then again, a lot of good stuff comes from Subani too (Stormcaster gloves and White Scrolls for example) so there are benefits to both.

This is pretty typical RPG fare though, the people working for the bad guy are given immense power, but if they fail the bad guy is more than willing to discard them without a second thought. Subani is the exact opposite, his blessing in the PQ will resurrect you as many times as you need in order to complete your task.
btw Isaac,

Warrior has a sword, Thief has a ninja star, Magician has a staff, Bowman has a bow, and pirate has a... a... well, I don't really know what the hell means the pirate one D:
Isaac, Where do you think each expansion would be on the Masteria's map?
NOW THAT I THINK. Vineland is most likely the area where Krakia is. Like the haunted mansion inside the phantom forest.
Roads Wrote:Isaac, Where do you think each expansion would be on the Masteria's map?
This is pointless because they've already shown that they don't mind completely changing the map to fit things in.
Isaac, they only zoomed out a bit, it's not completely changing. xD
i got a question about a new (to me at least) pole arm that has no image in the MTS wanted search, its called "Maolster Polearm" i think. Is it recently new? or cash shop. It almost has the same kind of name as the river rattler and darkstar dagger, but not quite as straight forward.
