Snipe Glitch at CWKPQ

Sorry if this was already mentioned elsewhere.

I used snipe at the blood stirges at the 2nd jump room of CWKPQ and I got disconnected. It showed up as a MISS, then everyone else on the screen stopped moved and shortly afterwards I was booted.

It was this room in case anyone was wondering which room specifically.




On a sidenote, snipe worked on the guards at MVPQ (it just made it disappear, no miss or damage shown or exp). I haven't tried snipe on the black guardians during the first stage of CWKPQ though.

Yeah, Snipe's awesome in that it doesn't miss - ever. What that means, is that invincible monsters will glitch up the game and disconnect you. Same thing used to happen on Bigfoot, and it also happens in GPQ. I'd assume if you were in Tespia, and went to LPQ, the same thing would happen on the invincible golems there. Shadow Web and Power Guard work, but Snipe doesn't.

Surprised it works on the Black Guardians though; makes me wish I had Snipe.

Maybe that was the point of the 7 guardians in the archer room. So that Marksmen would be NEEDED to finish in a timely manner.

Err, I haven't tried it on the black guardians. That JQ room was the farthest I got before stage 2 kept glitching for our group.
I said it worked on the guards at Mal Volance PQ, the ones that do super knockback.

Black Guardian is classified as a boss. Snipe works, but only the damage part does.

And I can confirm that. I did that room (or rather, attempted to do that room within time) with a fellow marksman. NOne of our Snipe 1HKO'd them, though they all did max damage - (1..5000).

I only said that because the TS said it worked. Which is true?

i wasn't stating that we can kill faster. he just made it sound like you need a MM with snipe in order to finish that stage on a good amount of time.

that room should be a piece of cake once we get 4 second 200k snipe. haven't gotten a chance to do it yet though.
