Shortest Way To CWK

After completing the quest that enables you to take shortcuts through the forest, is there a shorter path to take to reach CWK?? (I'm not talking about the jump quest)

subscribe yourself to this thread. use the map that includes "gate portals", the stonehenge-like constructs in the forest.

From Haunted Mansion take left portal to Swamp Bog.
Enter the stone gate in Swamp Bog, to reach Crossroads.
Go right, past windraiders, to reach stone gate. Enter it.
You are now in Forgotten Path. I trust you know the way from there.

If anybody knows of a way to bypass Forgotten Path or at least its obstacle course of monsters (which I find harder than the JQ), I'd love to hear it.

In other words:

Haunted House > left entrance
Swamp Bog > Gate
Crossroads 2 > Gate
Forgotten Path > A (top left).

Nope, no way; assuming you can take an Elderwraith hit (and if you can't, you won't get much out of this patch) all you pretty much do is tank hits and try not to get bumped down.

I hate that map...its cost me dearly so many times.

Yeah, if the patch doesn't get delayed as per usual, I'll head up in 30 minutes and screenshot what I'm talking about.

Then I'll attempt to get past CGs with my lol 3336 HP >_> and see if there's any training spots, because that PQ is gonna raep me without the assistance of a bunch of high level buddies.

Here it is.

It's easy to find.

Go in the Flamebrand cave (as he says, lowest one) and there's a skull and bones on a stick. It warps you to a place that spawns Nightshadows so keep your 1800+ hp pots at the ready.

Go out of that room and you're right at the top.

how do you get past the cgs?(i suck i know...)

@ Holypie, there really isn't much of a way to avoid them, unless you're lucky enough to find a gap to walk to the portal. I took 2.3k touch damage from them with max Invicible though, so I guess as long as you don't aggro them, you'll be fine.

@ Stereo, I tried that shortcut and it doesn't work. Does it require that quest item that lets you skip the JQ in order for that shortcut to work?

I couldnt use that on my Pirate the other day, I had the Map but not the other 2 items...I might try it again now that I have all three CWK items.
