We had a blizzard two days ago but it didn't last long. Piled a foot of snow in an hour. Visibility was 5ish metres, and it was night time. Well, ~6PM but the sun had set already. I was at work so I had to shovel the entrance walkway and when I got through half of it, it had already piled back as high as when I started. I was afraid a car might hit me because it was driving too close to the curb in the parking lot. One car did pull up in the walk way though, about an entire lane's width off the road.

California is hot and cold at the same time, and it sucks.

lol, here, school is NEVER canceled because of some incident a few years ago when some staff decided to take the month of December off and then school got canceled for snow days a few times. THey wanted a few days of holidays back but the University refused to give it to them, resulting in massive drama. Since then, the University has never been closed down. Last year, there was a bomb threat on the school and all they did was close down the one building that was suspected of being threatened, told everyone else to be careful and continued classes.

As for me, if there's snow on the ground, I aint showing up. I make my own snow days! Didnt work today though, I had a midterm to take x_X
