Your Buddy List

With our buddy lists *able to* (not automatically, I think) expand to 100 people now, I was wondering about the state of everyone's buddy lists. Is it chock full, with 30 people talking at once? Perhaps inactive and dead, with no one to talk to? Or maybe something else?

Isn't it 50 right now?

I've always been fine with 25. I tend to be in the same guild as my friends, so there's no need for an extensive buddy list. I have about 10 active buddies and 10 names I don't want to delete, and having a little extra room is nice.

I don't get why anyone would need 100 o_o I don't like how when you have a lot of buddies on, people don't know who you're talking to in buddy chat, so I tend to use whisps and guild chat a lot.

Edit: And yeah, I agree with the last statement made in the poll. MS keeps getting spammier and spammier; they need to revamp the chatbox. Tabbed chats would be REALLY nice if it could be done without filling up more screen space. Especially if you could make separate tabs for whispers.

100 is a bit much, 50 is a bit too little, when I leave a guild or people leave my guild I like to buddy people that I talked to, and I keep having to delete old friends who mostly quit, but if they come back ill never know, makes me sad.

I usually have around 15~20 people online daily with around 25 on Friday nights/weekends. The other 25 are inactives, some which I'm already contemplating on deleting, while others are just those known-them-since-the-start buddies that you just can't bring yourself up to deleting.

This new BL expansion takes away from the dwelling that comes with deleting an inactive friend; it'll be great.

I have 50 friends, some have mults on my BL (such as my girlfriend), and about 75% of my friends on BL are active. On weekends, I'd see around 50% of everyone on my BL on line.

With 100 slots, it's gonna get a bit hectic, but I like it if it's always busy, I guess. I just hope I won't get too much 'incoming' spam, lmao. I know several of my higher-up levelled friends out there that SMEGA-whores and likes to spam on my BL chat. xP;;

I would never be able to fill up 100 buddy slots. Ever. Unless I changed to a server where there was a more intelligent populous. >:

I don't have anywhere near 50 buddies, but I used to before I quit and came back, so the space is welcome.

My bl is full atm, and only about half of them are active, but never on all at the same time. So I welcome many new people.

More space is always welcome.
I hate having to delete old friends that quit because of the lack of slots.

I purposely don't have "MS buddies." My BL has my two best friends from the 3D world (the three of us make up our guild, too) and like...three people I only know from MS. And I only really talk to one of them.

I couldn't care less about the 100 person update. My BL is at 30 slots right now, and I doubt it will ever be higher (expanded it to make room for friends' mults).

Seriously, I get enough spam/ harrassment from the ones I already have.

I think I have 43 on my list now, and with the exception of 3 or 4, they all log on a lot. Some are a lot quieter than others, though seriously, I have enough noisy ones!!!

Why not through the expanding NPC as before?, or maybe they'll add 50 slots to everyone, so the people who upgraded their slots won't have wasted their mesos =P

Really? I thought we'd have to talk to whatshisname to expand it more, just like we did before to expand it from 20 to 50.

In any case, my buddy list is like half inactive, but I don't like deleting people usually, so I try to keep as many people (that I don't hate, lool) as possible. Because of that, I'm at around 48/50 right now, I think. So I'll probably expand a few or whatever.

Keep in mind, you always have the option to reject buddy requests and such, this feature really does no harm, as its not forcing you to have 100 people, just slots, some people benefit from it, some arent affected at all, but it doesnt hurt anything in the current gameplay.

And as long as it doesnt hurt the game, then im all for it.

Or just deal with it and ignore it instead of coming into every thread with a negative attitude, always needing to hate on someone or something.

But again, I really want this 100 Bl thing, don't have to continuously delete all my friends who I don't really care for as much as someone else anymore. XD

My buddy list barely has anyone on it, now that I'm back from a long absence.
