They're probably just modeled after the animators perception of different (elemental) godesses not having anything to do with maples lore.

Holy snapplecrackers, you're right, MW kind of resembles Lakelis... Probably just the outfit though. And the oversized head. (What Maple character doesn't have an oversized head? 'Cept some NPCs.)

When you agree to become a Cleric, Grendel tells you that your skills come from God. In religion, there are both men and women, but divine grace is typically considered to be a feminine trait... you can't exactly put Jesus in Maple, but variations on Mary are basically infinite under this scheme.

Keep in mind I am not a Christian, I am just trying to analyze what they did.

Yea. I always thought certain buffs would affect your char's image, like Rage adding muscles and making your char a little taller.

I never noticed the animation until I got it. I didn't notice the girl was wearing a bikini until one night I was randomly casting all my skills for fun and noticed it. I'll admit though, after I noticed it the first time, I kept casting and recasting it to see what it looked like cause of this:

Ok, maybe I didn't mean that far of a pedophile. Let's hypothetically say that a common person is 30. When he look at two girls... one 24 and one 18 (assuming stereotypical appearances), somehow he will go for the 18 year old simply because she looks more youthful, and that would guarantee a higher rate of reproduction.

The only countries I know of where your example would actually be pedophilia are in Africa, and it's only a few. Most places have a legal age of consent at 18 or pretty close to it. Also, what the hell are "stereotypical appearances?" I don't know of many places that are closed off from the outside world to such an extent that you could even use such a term.

I did a few KPQs on my pirate, and she does actually look very similar to the KPQ NPCs as someone stated earlier.

Yea, her face looks like the HS/IS one (closed lids) but everything else (hair, body, clothing etc.) looks different from all the other skills. I'll try and dig up a screenie >.>
