[HKMS]Big failure of Gamania.

HKMS is going to merge with TWMS, maybe we should say it is annexed by TWMS.

GMs said that this was Hongkongers' Maple Story, they even held an event for it.However, due to the lack of players, income, and technology, They have decided to give up and move all players to TWMS to decrease the loss.

They always disappoint us by lying. For instance, they said that they would release New Leaf City in december, 4th job in January last year. But then, they realised that they weren't capable to, they delayed all.

After awhile, hope came. They claimed that a big patch was coming, they listed things that would be released. 4th job, pirate, mounts etc...WOW we were so excited and thought that "oh gamania is not really that bad".
But our hope was destroyed soon. 19/2 they annouced that HKMS is going to merge with a EXISTING server in TWMS. We were shocked. Patch? LIE!

Whines flooded the official forum yet there wasn't even one single reply from Gamania. To anyone that didn't know, TWMS is full of hackers. LV200 in a week is really common. Prices are rocket high. HK culture won't be respected.
Lots of players have decided to quit. KS, cc plz, mega wars, will not be as rare as before.

Gamania didn't even tell anything about this policy before, they knew that players would complain. Now the date is close, no one can change the merging anymore.

Gamania's fame cannot be worse anymore.

1.HK players were banned from TWMS in 2007(also GMS, MapleSEA), moved to HKMS. All hard work was wasted. They faced the fact and moved to HKMS. Then great, they have to move back to TWMS again. What a joke.

2.Hackers, scammers, or bad things are rarely seen in HKMS compared to TWMS. Now we have to face them everyday again.

3.We are moved to a currently existing world, not a new world. Think yourself why it is bad.

4.Prices are rocket high, we cannot buy anything good items since TW players make mesos by hacking.

5.After more than a year of playing, the highest player in HKMS is LV166. However, TWMS have tons of LV200, some of them made it in just 1 week.

6.Maps are crowded again.

7.Racists will make wars everyday.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Recently, the game distributor, which is Gamania, of the game Maple Story in Hong Kong has decided to merge Hong Kong Maple Story with a server existing in Taiwan Maple Story. This merging will be held from 23rd to 25th this month. It is a very unpopular action to many Hong Kong players.

Hong Kong players were banned from TWMS in 2007, moved to HKMS. All hard work were wasted. They faced the fact and moved to Hong Kong Maple Story. Then great, they have to move back to Taiwan Maple Story again. What a joke. We do not wish to play in a server filled with hackers and immature players in Taiwan.

We players have posted about it on forums, contacted Gamania. However, our whines were not replied and no changes have been made. Therefore, the only thing we can do is contacting the mother company which is Nexon Korea.

We hope that the merging can be rejected as soon as possible, or ask other distributors to hold the game. We hope that you Nexon Korea understand how we Hong Kong players feel and stop this ridiculous merging. I believe that you being the mother company of Maple Story, you have to keep the games well over the world for the reputation. We strongly request you Nexon Korea to take action against Gamania and the merging.

Gamania is the best company to be running MS as of now. Asiasoft is stable, but does not relese things on a scale of Gamania does. All nexon's fail, flat out. Level Up Games can't ban any hackers in BMS, and really, Gamania has the BEST reputation in the MS world. Besides Wizet.

I don't know what its reputation in the MS world, but it is definitely the worst in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Not for the quality of games they held, but the ways they act and their policy. Their cash items are incredibly expensive, and they treat players like toys. All they want is money. I don't blame a company for making money, but they have to treat players better.

Not to mention the numbers of hackers in TWMS.

What? I could have sworn the TS just said the patch was a cover-up, unless I'm wrong. Quick to say Nexon fails, aren't we?

Well there are two ways to look at it I guess. At least they are merging with another server and not just completely closing down so everyone losses their characters.

They shouldn't have opened it then, lots of HK players have high-leveled characters in TWMS before HKMS was released. They banned all those accounts.

Now they unlocked our IP again, just for their unexpected loss.
However, the accounts are still banned.

They also blocked HK from GMS as well. I had a friend that played...then quit.

Maybe it'll be open now.

Promising an assload of content, then not living up to it, does not, in any way, make the best company to be running MS.

Is it really that hard to communicate with players? Seriously? It can't be a coincidence that every single MS host sucks at CS/announcements/this kind of pomegranate.

Well I never said opening it was a good move. But like I said at least they didn't see it as a failure and just close it down. They are trying to salvage something. It's better than being left with nothing. The more regional versions of Maplestory they open, the more likely these failures are.

Yes. I admit that Gamania do hold games well in quality such as stable connection. But that's all they have.

I lived though our January Asiasoft screw-up.. i evened scrolled my widam during the time.. Which i was deeply traumatized when it boomed.
