kMS Patch - GoldRich's Golden Compass

I'd imagine the amount of spammage that happens in KMS or JMS is rather high, since they have Smegas that are specifically designed to advertise item sales and stuff (yellow), as well as Smegas that send a message across ALL servers (red). I might have confused some of the stuff here, but basically their chat windows in some SSes look like rainbows.

KMS also has notices about the newest items in the cash shop. You click on the text and it shows the item just like the yellow smegas.

This seems like a really good event. The NEWS letters drop quite easily, so getting in is simple.

I've had reports from very reliable friends/sources finding them, independently of each other. Most people didn't even know until they found it and it's still kept quiet because yea, people always like to keep money-secrets quiet.

For the person that wondered about the Chaos Scrolls dropping from a monster:

2. it's N.S.E.W not N.S.E.N
5. You have 60 seconds
7. He gives around 4.5%. (w/ my Marauder, from lvls 70~100)
8. It's different for each level. You get higher-lvled potions that restore 4000/5000 HP/MP for lvls 80~89.
The Droprates are around
40% Hardened egg (?)
20% Hardened egg (!)
10% Hardened egg(EXP)
And the message in blue comes out when you get a scroll from the Egg, not when you get an item from the (!) egg.

EXP eggs are WAY more common than (!) why not check the rates with Insoya?

10%, 60% scroll for Belt DEX, INT, LUK, STR
5% clean scroll
60% chaos scroll

this event is great. at level 124 I get 4% per EXP egg, and I get one almost every run.. good alternative for training since I only get 8% / hour by actually training.. lol

10% drop rate on the EXP egg? well I must have terrible luck then cause I've killed about 100 pgis across 5 runs and only got 1. :/

Tip for Isaac and Blitz!
you can possess multiple numbers of Golden compasses
so..
If you have a junior, use the X2 drop rate privilege or collect 20 of the dark rocks and give them to Kasandra. she will give you a buff raising your drop rate (meso drop rates too if ur unlucky..)

then use the golden compasses all at one time, giving you a X2 drop rate for the pigs!
that way, you get 2~3 golden eggs for EXP per round! and the (!) egg drops better that way (I've had 8 rounds and still haven't gotten a (!) egg lol.)

but the ! eggs are guaranteed to give you good stuff so of course they're rare. also what are these dark rocks?

I heard chaos scrolls, while they drop from virtually every monster, has a ridiculously low drop rate..

Um, is there proof of this anywhere? I have yet to hear about this. I would believe it if said monsters are from Magatia though..

<- It appears in quite a few monsters but mostly it drops with Zombie Mushrooms, mini-bosses, Drumming Bunny(?), Roids etc.

Not really.. the Smegas, megas, Yellow Item Megas are quite annoying, but the rest aren't really.. common

HT messages appear ever like 6hrs, the blue item message is really rare too and mapletips can be turned off

I don't do all that family crap so no, doesn't really affect me. and yeah, I have been using Cassandra's buffs but they aren't helping me.

I got 11(?)s 3(!)s 2(EXP)s on one char that went two rounds;

Golden Compasses now have a 30min 'cooldown', so this(↓ was blocked.

Although think you mean use the X2 drop rate then use the Golden Compasses in a ROW, not all at the same time;

For the Maple GM, 25- is 2.5k exp.

And, the drop rate for the (!) is definitely not every 100~200. People usually get 1 or 2 every run. The exp are a lot less common to get than the (!). Someone went 15 rounds with no exp eggs at all, and got 1 or 2 (!) per run.

Nerf:
Now you need 20 of each letter to get a compass, and they nerfed the droprate. FAIL.

Oh, and for the Maple GM thing, it's still 2.5k exp at lvl 28. so its not from 25-70.

Sounds like this will make Chaos Scrolls more common then when we have Gach Box Events. Nice.
