Pot consumption.

Today, I was trying to go train at Birks and Dual Birks. So I decide to use a Generic Countdown Timer, so I know how many hours elapsed.

This is without Power Guard.

 After 1 hour of training

585 Satays consumed in 1 hour. This is why I couldn't train alone.

Note: Generic Countdown Timer is a Yahoo widget which counts down. If the timer reaches 0, the alarm beeps.

I believe that he's a hybrid sader, (specced into both Sword and Axe masteries, along with booster, not too sure about FA though.) which doesn't allow him to get PG until later on in 3rd job, I believe.

like str clerics, perma beginners, str-less brawlers, defense whores, lukless dits, and warriors w/ 80+ dex.

anyone putting 3rd job sp into powerguard has wasted some 3rd job sp.

what are satays and why arent you using honsters?

Satays are delicious Singapore local traditional BBQ food. It is normally served with curry sauce. Its fragrance can be sensed a distance away. This item recovers 2600 HP.

The reason why I am not using Honsters is because I don't go to Masteria to buy them, because I dislike it. Infact, I'm trying to get to the highest level I possibly can get without even going there, which it increases the difficulty, but I can get over it. I do not want annoying questions like "If you do not like Masteria, than why do you bother going there?" or some stuff like that.

Since some other Crusader skills are not that useful in my opinion (Relax, Shield Mastery, Axe Coma, Armor Crush, and Shout), I might max Power Guard and finish off Sword Booster and Axe Booster, then I might add the remaining SP into Sword Panic until level 120.

then your pot costs are normal for any time before masteria, you are doing nothing wrong, you arent contributing to inflation, and you are also making it more painful for your wallet by not selling out. its the price you pay. but it used to be normal. idk why you made a thread for it.

And yes, I went Hybrid because of Showa Town. But even if we do have some towns with Weapon Attack potions that do have better effect than Rage, Fighters/Crusaders can still be Pure weapon. After training at Mysterious Path 3 until level 76, things start to get difficult for mesos, and that's when I end up training with Priests as always.

And no, I do not tell them to Holy Symbol nor heal, because even if I need to train with them, I still need to show some respect.

Hybrid saders just sound like way to much trouble to go to. The lionheart and japanese map make swords the best option pre- 3rd job, then an equal damage axe becomes even more expensive than swords after that. You spend a lot of your 3rd job points preparing for using a sword anyways, so it just seems pointless.

But i'm not gonna question your methods, you can do what you like =/

Unless you started out Axe and went Sword hybrid I don't see what Showa has to do with it.


My WK was using similar amounts of pots (2000+ ice cream pop per level) at 8x back in the day and I had Powerguard. It's just the way 8x warriors are.

DK saved a ton by going to Ginseng, I think it dropped to about 1200 a level but only because of HB (1 Ginseng is nearly 4000 hp on it) the same hp cost still applies, it's just cheaper to pay for.

Showa Town = ciders = unnecessary to have Rage, I guess? -shrug-

Wait, how do you go hybrid as a Fighter? Are you FA-less?

But, i dont understand. With all the excess knowledge about why hybrid saders are bad, of all the reasons you could have picked, it was because of Showa Town? I'm totally lost.

Powerguard is gonna save you money and headaches. MP Recovery is gonna save you money and headaches. Shout has its uses. Rage will 'probably' be increased to 12atk at some point in the future. You will never use Axe with Brandish if you're already able to use Sword with Brandish. Panic and Coma still have marginal use in 4th job.

My only advice at this point: Put a mule in New Leaf City, and mule yourself some Honsters. I dunno what odd reason you have for not going there, but those pots will seriously save you money as your HP continues to grow.

Example: At my level, Honsters (2800 meso each) heal 9000 HP for me, 14400 HP healed with HyperBody.

Well probably going along the lines of thinking that you won't need pg till late 3rd job.

I personally would of skipped one of the FA's, whichever weapon you don't use as much during second and third.

It's the same reason people today try leveling 1H BW/Axe warriors, to be unique is my best assumption.

Yes, because Showa Town has Ciders (Which gives 20 Weapon Attack, and reduces 5 accuracy). Bad thing about them is that they can't stack, so I had to get used to it.

And I believe there is another reason I should have told you earlier: People can't always realize that I know what to do. They just tell me to buff them, which really annoys and angers me. Even if I don't have it, they still beg/tell me to do it. What's wrong? Is asking politely like "May I please have <insert buff here>?" too long to type? Kids these days.

If I would have picked Power Guard, I would have sacrificed the attacking speed. So it is best for me to wait until 3 of my 3rd Job skills (Combo Attack, Coma, and Panic) are maxed. I know it's pointless, but it is necessary after you max out the skills you want.

And no, still, I am not going to New Leaf City on all of my other characters. It's because of Haunted Mansion which should have been only for the Halloween event. GG Nexon.
