This has been bothering me...

The symbol literally translates to 'empty' or just pronounced "bin" which would support been, kinda. "The Pink Void" sounds ok.

Since there is a correlation with "been" and "was"...how about The Pink Was?

Or Wozza. lol

Lets just call it Floyd. Wink

Floyd? wtp? Lol.
Pink Floyd.
Red Floyd
Blue Floyd
Blue Moyd
SHOE FACTORY!

Technically, since there are no exact translations for words that don't exist (Been) we can't be 100% sure where it came from or if it actually means "Been"

This reminds me of all the arguments over how to pronounce words like "seive" and "Palin".

Just stick with the way you're most comfortable with, and don't even bother to get into arguments about how it's pronounced when you're not specifically talking about how to pronounce word X. People these days tend to waste their energy on such trivial matters.

That's why it's "Been!" Redface
On a side note, anyone notice the Doom Flounder doesn't look like a flounder at all?

It is also possible that it will have a different name altogether when it comes to GMS. After the renaming that happened when Pirates came out, I would not be surprised.

been = 였다

so nope, it's not been neither...
빈 is just a pronunciation letter.... it has no direct meaning... like the japanese people would write ビン which has no meaning in japanese itself... but it's just the way they write the sound...

and it COULD be bi-in... but asian people never gets the tonalities in english right... *looking at all the chinese people, japanese people... korean people too >.> vietnamese people seem to be doing better tho o.O*

then now comes Nexon... so even IF they come out with Pink Been *which makes the LEAST sense out of the 3 ways* I won't be surprised >.> *looks at all the misnamed items people have been posting*
like Felix said... when Nexon starts applying logic into the game ... ESPECIALLY spelling... then something's not right...

PS: i forgot about Night Load! LOL that's even WORSE than Night Road... at least Night Road was something... Night Load isn't ANYTHING! load = verb... there's a subject + verb but no complement???

PPS: @Moonlapse: Crossbow Master => Marksman as well =b
so yes, there's a possibility it's a completely different name... but it's not a job... so there's no "correct" or "better" way of naming it...

When 4th job had first came out, it said Crossbow Master in Gms. They changed it in 2 days at the next SC.

Yea, I remember calling them Crossbow Masters for a few days after they came out. I got used to it that way, and when I finally heard Marksmen like a few weeks later, I was like "wtp?"

But they may change it completely. Like Alcadno and Zunemist, and the Pirates too.

Not that kind of "been." The Been I'm trying to prove is a proper noun Redface

Anything that starts with a J sound in Korean will start with a Z in English, I think.

Rofl.. Mr. Bean.. that's funny. A boss named like Mr. Bean..

Ok, anyway, let's try to figure out how they'll name it when it'll come on GMS..

Pink Being would make sense to me. I can see it being called "Pink Being". As I already said, that's the only option that makes sense.

Mmmm... actually, let's go with Shidoshi. Pink Boing. Nice and snappy.

It could make sense.

EDIT: ++content of this post by echoing that the TS is probably bothered by a lot of things that Nexon has come up with

No, like "Been." Pronounced as "bean" but spelled like "been." Rolleyes

It's called pink BEN
That's Ben 10 transformed into a new alien that's where the name comes from...

Now seriously, as many ppl already said let's wait for it to come out in gms. It could be called pink been now but they could change it to "Pink Chinchilla" or "Grand Sage Master of the time" or something

Pink Been sounds by far the most stupid. How does that even make sense? Pink Bean is retarded too... Pink Being is alright. But I'm riding on a GMS name change that will simplify this matter.

Something without "Pink" in its name would be nice! Give it a real name!

-sigh-

Guys, just leave it as 'we do not know for sure at the moment' and go back to calling it whatever we called it before, Bean or Been it really doesn't matter at the moment.

Also, 'Pink Been' makes no sense at all.

To all the people saying "Been" doesn't make sense, look at Pianus, Alishar, Mano, Geno, Manon, Deu, Dodo, Lilino, Raika, and Ergoth. What "sense" do those names make? They don't have to make sense, because they're names!
