When is fighting Tauromacis for a quest a good idea?
#1
because I don't intend on burning millions just to get some level 60 shoe from Maya's Last Collection.

I have just 4 of the 50 Tauromaci Horns I need, yet I already burned through 60 pizzas, for the record. I am willing to take a slight loss, since I already took the loss from Cargoes, but this is too much.

You'll probably still have trouble when you're 7x. Just buy the shoes and finish the quest around then.

Alright then. I just hope I can find the Gore Boots in FM. (I went through all Perion and Nath FMs and never saw them)

I trained at tauromacis as an archer from 65-68 or so. Expensive and dangerous, but possible. Don't even bother with it before then though, you'll end up dying/wasting way too much money. Do the "A spell that seals a critical danger" at the same time for maximum efficiency.

I would like to mention that there's a "sniping spot" at Cursed Sanctuary 3. You stand on the pillar and fire across at the macis/spears, then go over to loot whenever. However, it might take you a VERY long time.

A shame Im in Windia or I'd hunt you 46 and give em to you >=(

I thought Tauromacis could still magic you from that distance. Must be remembering incorrectly.

Dont bother with Tauros yet until around 7-8x. Since Tauros can dish out tons of damage, you'd be burning up a truckload of pots.
I'd buy the gore boots if possible.

You're correct, but that's only if you stand at the edge of the pillar. I remember being fine standing closer to the middle of it. Either way, I'll test it out tonight if time permits.

Don't bother at your level. Hunt FoG for Gore Boots, and do the quest later for the sake of doing the quest. Pot burning for equipment you can find = </3
