Did anyone ever notice...

that of the 2 variations each of Phantom Tree and Crimson Tree in the data, only 1 of each seems to actually spawn in-game?

I was on Hidden-street, passed over the Crimson Tree, then went back and thought "How come I've never seen this right facing variation? I've only ever seen (and shot) the left facing one."

Can anyone prove me wrong? It looks like this:


Edit: I'm not sure, I've just never seen the right-facing Phantom Tree. I have never been to Path of Strength, so I can't say the same about Crimson Trees.

Edit2: I also find it strange that HS also listed the left facing Crimson Tree's common location as N/A, while the right facing one had Lower Ascent and Path of Strength listed on it.

I'm fairly certain (not 100% though) the right-facing Crimson Tree can be found at Path of Strength.

But you do bring up a point about the right-facing Phantom Tree o.O

Right Phantom tree monsters cover the right trees in the background and I've seem them most of the time when I'm over there.

Kinda weird but I've never ever seen the right facing Phantom Tree anywhere in MS...

The trees just have differently shaped branches, to cover up various tree types in the forest. I think one of them is legitimately missing but the others, they do spawn. You just can't tell the difference unless you're really looking.

Or have low quality resolution, because monsters are always high quality, like characters.
