So uhm ok, Nexon Emergency Patch?

Um... some of you guys are forgetting something.

The commands and/or functions available as a GM on a private server are no the same commands available to GMS GMs. Private server commands are *developed* by whomever writes the source. While many commands in Pservers are meant to emulate the real GM commands, some are not fully realistic, and there are many which are not available, for any of the following reasons:

1) We aren't aware they exist (remember, GMs have many behind-the-scenes commands which we will never be able to see
2) No one has coded them, for several reasons, eg. time consumption
3) They are impossible to code for the specific source

And so, there is no point saying "oh, gm killall doesn't/does give drops", as you wouldn't know... like I said, GM Commands in GMS aren't the same as Pservers.

Remember NXJoeW's videos ? On youtube? Do you think any Pserver has coded a map location skipper such as the one shown there? Not to my knowledge.

Anyways, there have been bans, but ultimatley this is a problem which has only short-term solutions, unless they want to ditch GameGuard...

Lozmaster Wrote:Yeah, it's totally the same situation, people holding the HT cave entrance where people can report you, for 17 hours, vs solitary hackers who may or may not get banned in the cave.

Also, since a GM obviously came to check horntails cave, they may well have been looking for hackers there anyway.Tongue

No. No, no, no, no, no. A few weeks ago I was in a squad waiting to sign up when a GM appeared in the Cave Entrance. You're telling me that these are pretty much the only two times a GM has been in the Entrance/Cave of Trial, and that both times they were a legit run/legit person holding cave. It's IMPOSSIBLE for GM's to NOT know whats going on in there. They hack HT EVERYNIGHT, multiple times.

Avenge Wrote:It wasn't an attempt to monopolize HT, it was an attempt to keep hackers out. GM's ban legit players holding the HT cave from hackers, but do absolutely nothing when it comes to the people actually hacking it.

If 100 hackers hack HT and GMs ban 5 of them, you won't notice a difference but they are banning them. But if only 1 person is hogging and they ban the hogger, then people will definitely notice since it's only 1 person.

Just because you don't see them banning doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Broa doesn't have 100 ppl hacking HT. It's like 20 people tops. And why would they only ban 5? Like 10 of em hack HT at a time. They just pick a random few to ban and hope the others learned their lesson?

When did they put THIS pomegranate in? Instant killing... Already bad enough with text lagging...

Why are hackers becoming more aggressive (adding in mSEA/jMS/cMS bullcrap)? WTB more active GMs and a better type of Gameguard. Tongue

I guess you were never taught the idea of a concept.

Just because you physically don't see people getting banned doesn't mean people don't get banned. Look at the real world with criminals and stuff. Criminals are still there, and police catch them. Just because some are still there doesn't mean the police aren't doing their jobs.
