Pap skill drop rates upped?

Since the last server check, just based on what I see in Broa's FM, it seems like Pap is crapping out books significantly more often.

I've seen at least 6 Bstep 30s in different shops this week, when maybe 1 a week used to be normal. Venom 20 seems to be everywhere and has dropped in price by about half. The only other book I've payed attention to is Stance 20, and I've seen 2 this week. Not great, but more than I'm used to seeing.

Anyone else have the funny feeling Pap drops books more often, or at least some books? I haven't gone to fight it this week, so I'm just speculating on the market.

30 books are more common because gold chests give them out sometimes. I'm not sure about the 20 books...

I think if any of the skills I mentioned in particular came from boxes, we'd have seen some screens by now.

I have noticed no such increase in drop rate.

I have no idea what's causing it. Hurricane 30 was 30m in Bera a few days ago. Now I'm having to sell it for 21-23 >_>

It could be people seeing the rapid deflation of brandish30. Brandish30 is a pap drop but most of us know where it's coming from. Since most people see it deflating, they may believe that all pap books are increased.

For example, if you saw a bunch of elemental weapons in FM, you'd probably think zip gach rate is increased. But really, nexon added an event you were unaware of where you can get one for completing a long tedious quest.

first book decreasing on price was brandish 30 then bs, hurricane and stance 20. now is useless hunt bosses for books. since pianus/zak/HT are being hacked too lol

60 paps, nothing more expensive than a venom20 here... yay for 2m...

Yea, I think the books are dropping more frequently.

i've done a few paps the last few days and have gotten the usual, nothing.

I've soloed 150 times in the last 7 months, and I've never gotten Brandish 30, Bstep 30, or Stance 20.

So I'm going to have to go with no on a drop rate increase.

I wish it was true about the drop rate increase, but really, it's all hackers that mass rape pap/zak/ht atm... HT gets killed about 1x per hour in khaini now, while it used to be a few times a week...

Wait till next patch and see the books get rare again like they used to... only for a few weeks, till the scriptkiddies get their hacks back / buy their hacks again.

Don't get your hopes up, Nexon will never increase droprates in maple, unless they can make money out of it... Nexon is earning a shiet load of money with all the noobs paying in hard cash for this free game to get skill books / new "godlly" items...

looking through the fm in windia, i saw a couple shops full of ht drops that werent advertising for a legit run like runners usually do to find buyers. mw20s, zerk30s, tt30s, weapons.... couldnt be more obvious. although i doubt many of the drops are being sold, just cuz cheaters have friends too.
