If there is a Jr Balrog i guess there has to be a Balrog or maybe Balrog Sr? Maybe it summons lots of rogs and crogs.

More looks like Horntail and Jr. Balrog combined.

Actually, and Elder Balrog with high knowledge in magic wouldn't surprise me. Ever notice how Jr Balrog (when summoned) has a star-symbol? Also notice how when a Crimson Balrog dies, there's a black star-symbol around it as well? Probably some sort of alchemy or magic.

Well, it's either an elder Balrog, or something like what Akuma (Street Fighter) goes through when he became Shin Akuma [True Gouki]. I say that because of its white eyebrows. (Godly power = white hair?)

The armor on its shoulder looks a little different than a Crimson Balrog's shoulder pad. Shin Balrog please.

Im all for hard hitting bosses, but full screen 15k is a little over the top O_O.

Also touch is usually the hardest hit on any boss, not magic.

Which is stupid, because, why use magic when a mere body touch does most damage? xD I never understood maple's high touch damage rule...

Also, it needs to be a boss where ranged people have no chance, they have enough bosses already now... Also, 15k is easy for non ranged characters and magicians... Both with HB offcourse...

We have enough high lvl weak baby bosses in maple...

Those are both symbols used to control demons. In actuality, the way such a symbol works is that you stand in the center of it and it protects you from being harmed by it (maybe this is why the symbol appears directly over you when you summon a Jr. Balrog). But yeah, it's also an alchemical symbol (the opposing triangles in this case represent opposite elements, like Fire and Water) so this is certainly something to consider. If you also look at the Tolkien original balrogs, their leader was Gothmog, who is powerful and has huge forces at his disposal. Still, he's directly controlled by the real villain. If this is a balrog, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that while it may be strong and intelligent, it is still under the influence of someone else.

Well, who cares.. that's just the proof that MapleStory isn't a so-childish game.

Anyway, it really looks like something major. The Black Magician's forces are becoming even bigger, and Black Magician has to act to stop us Maplers from interfering with his plans, whatever they are.

I'm seriously looking forward the end of the Maple's story. It will surely be an epic end, and what will NEXON invent after they end the story? Maybe open a new chapter..
