I used to stream anime a long time ago when I couldn't torrent, after I started downloading my anime, I couldn't go back to streaming. Also, you know you want to become a Gundam .

Streaming is for noobs. Kill yourself if you stream 00. The show is broadcast in HD for a reason.

waaaah. So much gundam hate. D:
I used to stream, downloaded a HD ep once. Never went back.
Honestly, i do watch it, but have to say not my favorite of the gundam series. When i first started watching, seeing the mobile suits move fairly slowly, i thought "wow, if there is an 8 ton piece of machinery, it probably wont be move too pineappleing fast" like you see in many gundam and other mech shoes. Solid armor to absorb blows, long range guns, and being able to swivel well seemed to make it more realistic. And the gundams themselves werent really ridiculously overpowering other mobile suits. But then the Gundam Thrones came, and were pretty ridiculous. Then there came the 00 riser friggin sword. After that (episode 17 of the second season) it can no longer really be considered realistic. I mean, come on, the sword is easily 10 times the size of Gundam 00.
And the series keeps pissing me off by having everyone(though setsuna more then anyone else) say virtually every other character's full name every time they see them. How long has Setsuna known saji? Yet EVERY pineappleing time setsuna sees him he has to say "Saji Crossroad?" like it is a suprise meeting with someone he knew back in high school. Also, Setsuna did no need a middle initial, though they rarely say it anymore. Also, i love how Graham just progessively, as the series goes on, gets more and more gay. Its like in the beginning he is popular with the ladies, in the end he is talking about his undying obsession and desire for setsuna. That and, is it just me, or is Seravee gundam just... idk. It seems to me, that if my gundam was essentially a giant cannon with legs, whose main ability in the first season( as virtue) was to have a giant cannon that takes a while to shoot but deals immense damage, has great armor, and the GN particle shell thing, that i would improve on its weaknesses, mainly, the lack of fast, reptitive fire for fast targets, and the mobility of the suit itself. Not add like 8 more giant cannons that take a while to shoot. Then again, more giant lazers is always better then less, i guess. And honestly, who here did not see the Anew Returner thing coming THE MOMENT SHE WAS INTRODUCED. Comon, they could have made it less obvious. Also, is Saji just dumb, or did he honestly forget that Louis not only had lost her hand, the doctors had specifically said that they couldnt grow it back. Dont you think the second question after realizing she is fighting for the A-Laws would have been "How are you piloting that, last i checked you only had one hand." First of course is "wtp, WHY are you piloting that" IDK, i like gundam 00, but sometime the series makes me cringe and facepalm. also, anyone else feel they could have given Allelujah a different codename? I mean, the inner monolauge just got confusing between Hallelujah and Allelujah. Though it seems fitting for someone talking to themselves

I've watched Wing, Wing: Endless Waltz, Seed, Seed Destiny, and Astray, Special Edition and stuff.
I just don't like 00. >_>

You've got Trans-AM in every episode and characters who cannot die, no matter how hard you try to kill them (Patrick). I will admit that S1 of Gundam 00 was more realistic, but realism has never bothered me since this is Gundam. If you want realistic, go watch 8th MS Team.

I liked the realism in the beginning, but even though thats changed, doesnt mean i dont like ridiculousness at times too (Guren Lagann was incredibly fun to watch). Also, since i do like some gundam, but have to admit most of the earlier gundams i watched were on cartoon network(should really go back and rewatch in sub... hmm... begins downloading) i dont truly get teh "non-UC Gundam" part. Care to explain what the UC stands for? I might need to download a bunch of various gundam series i have missed, or never finished.

UC stands for Universal Century.
Gundam is supposed to be a Real Robot show, as opposed to Super Robot show, like TTGL is. The mechas are supposed to be based off of some sort of realistic means, or scientifically explained at the very least, though that is still a bit of a stretch for some series to still be considered "Real Robot". The mechas should be plausible in a real-life view, in some way. i.e. if we had the technology/resources to build a Gundam, it could work to some degree, but we don't have the means to do so. Alternatively, it's impossible to create the technology to build a Gurren Lagann as it seems to be able to create mass and is fueled with hot blood. How many men must we slaughter to fill the gass tank?! Gundam 00 started off quite Real Robot, but at this point, it's beginning to become more "Super Robot" with the mile long beam saber and poor scientific justification of more recent things.

Oh, I wasn't trying to be harsh or anything, I just wanted to know why you still liked the show, when you seemed to bash it. Universal Century Gundam has more of a Real Robot feel to it, although I've only seen 8th MS Team. Any of the non-UC Gundam, such as 00, Wing, and SEED (garbage) are geared towards Super Robot. JoeTang Wrote:UC stands for Universal Century. I think it's just 00-Raiser and Trans-AM that makes the show feel more like Super Robot. I mean, if you look back at S2 EP 20, Setsuna was out of action for quite awhile, and CB was getting their asses kicked.

But thats usually when it gets focused on Newtypes, like the ending of Zeta Gundam. |
