There were 3 updates to the Chronicles thread. The first day, with the Logo and Taggrin, the second day with Lita's quote, and yesterday, the third, with Joko and his fatty tiredness JQ/PQ/GQ quote.

The pendant scrolling system works exactly as it's supposed to. All those screenshots of pendants that were +52 seem to be from test servers or something. The egg quest is only meant to be done once; in KMS they made a second, repeatable version, but you can only do it if you don't have a scrolled HT pendant anymore. Why? because you're supposed to finish it off with Chaos Scrolls, apparently, and since those have a chance of breaking, they had to make a way for you to get a dragon stone for your second pendant (something that's currently impossible in GMS.)

uhm... Now that I think, imagine the last quest in the patch (from Barricade, for example) had something like "So we finally got to know who the 4 grandmasters of Masteria were... but who is this one I recently found? It's not any of the four..."

That's actually a good question. Why didnt you ask?! Then again, what Isaac said makes sense (though Chaos scrolls on the pendant would mean it'll never get to the 52 stat potential that 3 eggs would... Im also curious why not more people know about this as I see many guilds talking about selling additional eggs "when the quest is fixed")

Everyone saw pictures of the 52 stat pendants. Everyone assumed it was possible. At the time, we had no way to know this wasn't the case; there were no english maplers capable of fighting Horntail so all we had to go on were pictures taken by non-english speakers. Chaos Scrolls are still relatively new, and it's no coincidence that the quest to get another egg for another pendant came out right after. Let me try to find ZYX's thread on it...
