Knights of Cygnus Skill Tables
so against some physical-weak monster you get an extra 25% damage? for a total soul charge multiplier of 150% against such a monster? and just 120% against every other monster currently in the game?

(or is there already a designation that every monster except pink bean is phys-weak since there is no monster that doesnt seem to work right for our calculations?)

Yeah, somersault gets a sexy electric animation Heart
after maxing MaxHP, I allowed myself to put SP for Lightning charge, and its pretty cool, it gives even for the regular punch electric animation.

Looks pretty nice. When I saw the Energy Charge bubble pop up, I thought for a second, wtp third job at sand rats? Then I realized it was a second job skill. Cygnus is going to make people's heads spin.

If it works how I think it does (an after-crit multiplier, similar to Berserk), then crits would be crazy too. A Wind Walk crit would be +130% damage instead of +100% damage. And here's something: what if when you use Hurricane out of Wind Walk it increases the damage of every arrow until you let go of the button?

But yeah, I made two separate theoretical 3rd job builds. One for if Albatross turns out to be excellent, and one for if it turns out to be crap (and it won't be because I saw a video of someone using Hurricane during Albatross).

Well that's the thing though. Unlike (Super) Transform, which adds STR, Speed and Jump, Albatross only adds Speed and Jump. The only real advantages to using Albatross is extra maneuverability, two extra skills (one of which is inferior to Hurricane in terms of DPS, although it does look way cooler), and a cooler-looking avatar.

Does anyone know how Magnum Shot compares to AR in terms of DPS?

I can try to get some numbers for you to work this out with, I'd be interested to see if this is true. From what I remember about using wind walk, the criticals did seem oddly high.

I'm fairly certain it only affects the first arrow of Hurricane, but what do I know. I'm just going by logic and what I think I've read somewhere.

Yeah, for hurricane it would only affect the first arrow. It's not a real hassle to use windshot before each Double Shot/Storm Breath, but I wouldn't want to try it with Strafe or Rain. It's completely useless with Hurricane. So really, it would only affect the damage output for the two transform skills.

The speed advantage is pretty much pointless. Since FA is basically useless you can MAX thrust in 2nd job. Combine that with numerous bows that give 10+ speed and you already have 140 speed.

I think (read "hope") that the Wind Shot and maybe Magnum Shot delays will be reduced or taken away completely. They looked more spammable in some of the videos I've seen, but I could be mistaken. I guess we'll see or Issac will tell us firsthand when he reaches 3rd job. Hurry up!

Note: Magnum Shot does almost as much DPS as Hurricane when it hits two monsters, and significantly more when it hits three or more. Magnum Shot might be amazing.

I think I'm 100% sure I'm going with Flame Wizard now. Soul Warrior is tempting. Windbreaker is a sweet change to Bowman, and I'm sure they'd be fun too, but my Bowmaster is enough. I just want to get my Cygnus to 120 ASAP to benefit my BM.

Oh, and thanks for taking the time to do this! I'm very glad.

Can Cygnus really look forward to bosses at all? They can't hit/do damage/survive at HT and their damage would be pathetic at Zakum. Only heavily washed Windbreakers and Nightwalkers would be able to safely solo Pap, and that's just a waste. I think it's more important to focus on the training aspect of the Cygnus.

I never mentioned any of those bosses though, and i'm thinking the 4 bosses will just be 4 pap-esqe creatures. Shouldn't be that hard for one to get in.

Argh, why did I not think about after-crit? Darn, and I had decided to go Storm Breath first (after Mastery, of course) instead of Wind Walk.

This might make me reconsider for like the 15th time (unless I try a theoretical build where I level both at the same time).
