NEED HELP!losing interest in maple story.
#1
ever since the last patch, less and less people "pros" go to crimsonwood keep to hunt for HH and Bigfoot.....which makes me die on the way to windraiders because i cant walk a freakin meter without stumbling into BF or HH....

so any ideas for fun and long quests?
already did all Magatia quests tyvm.
no i dont like pirate pq.
and i dont want to grind.
unless grind is epic exp which is only windraiders.

Depends on what level you are...
If you don't like grinding, just do an hour a day. You don't have to spend your whole day training, but you'll still level up. Make up your own goals such as getting a number of items.

If you don't feel like playing maple nobody is forcing you, there's always the possibility of a break (with my last few rpgs I lost interest, left, then came back, left, then came back, etc).

I hardly ever see a bigfoot. You should do the quest where you get the map that way you can pretty much totally avoid any bigfoots.

But if you are losing interest in maplestory then I say just don't play it. No point forcing yourself to play when you don't want to. Just take a break and come back later, maybe this month’s patch will have something interesting for you.

For the mark of heroism, yes. But itll be worth it. Were you really doing the jump quest every time you went to windraiders? o_o

The map of phantom forest would keep you safe from Bigfoots and HH's.

ONce you have that all you have to do is go left of the mansion, go through the gate on that map, go through the next gate, and you're at forgotten path (map before the JQ).

Just talk to the John and Jack Barricade, itll be worth it.

Well that first gate then takes you right to that map you want to get to.

And just try makin it to him, start the quest in NLC first, but a few deaths now will save you a whole lot later down the road once the Keep opens and you want to get in at a higher level =P

Just do quests. Training alone is boring.

Where are all these HHs you keep running into? Everytime I go into the crossoads map I can never find one.
ON TOPIC: Like most people, when I'm having trouble training I often do quests.

Getting to Typhons isn't at all hard. IIRC stormbreakers do as much damage as DTs do, which is like...with a helm around 1.1k? I don't remember. As for Elderwraiths, just get HB and you're fine.

As a dexless hermit no helm lvl 78, you should be using Dark Sight.

Um, Magatia PQ is level 71-85, I don't know where you got level 75 from.

If you have someone with a lot of extra Transformation Potions, transform into a Sophia Doll (which give you god mode) and walk to Windraiders.

If you don't have that, you can do what I did and load up on potions (I always carried 1200+ Barbs and Sorcerers xD) and walk there normally in Channel 1 at 0%. I rarely ever met Bigfoot or Headless Horseman.

i was telling that as an exampe of dmg they do not that i take that much on a regular basis, I use DS as all sane thieves do...

magatia pq is full of idiots (my experience) and can't relly be trusted as a decent way to lvl (currently) the time it takes to complete is about 2-4 times longer than the time it takes to get that much exp at windraiders for me

btw once you get to know the jq (assuming you can get to it without dying) the exp at lower ascent is godly compared to the 4 (slow spawn) at the top of crossroads. personally i get 20-30%/hr at lower ascent (at lvl 78 now 79 potions and star quantity permitting) with a 3 min SP. a bowmaster that trained there a while back was reporting only slightly less (early 70's for him at the time) and a DK friend reports that he got some great exp rates as well though he can't remember exact speeds

Yeah, but it's a good way to screw around until you feel like training.

I should go to Windraiders sometime o.O

If it's only one level just train. I got 76-80 on a 4 hour card.
