• Additional backend changes to mitigate the recent lag and disconnection issues.
  
• The Better Maple 'Region Selection Saving' function will be temporarily removed.
  
• The Better Maple 'Change Character' function will be temporarily removed. Clicking the 'Change Character' button will send you back to the World Selection screen.*

We hang and disconnect on any channel change.

Of course, due to spaghetti, it may be that these two features get activated on every channel change, even though they're not relevant.

I wonder if it's related to any of the events in progress. I haven't touched the rainbow one at all, just dice and attendance.

i did rainbow only had lag from kill quest but other than that nope

Well I lag if I have a Sudden Mission and the attendance active.

The Rainbow event gives you a lot of freedom in choosing your missions (and rewards). You don't have to do a kill-count quest if it lags you.
Me being lazy, I just do the Master of Patience ("hold this for 20 minutes") over and over again while I'm mostly afk.
