White Scrolls are as common in MSEA as in GMS, maybe more cos as u said, we can get them through events.

And MSEA doesnt have Chaos Scrolls. They released them a few months ago but it was glitched, everything said ???????? and no one dared to try it. It was removed and the lucky people got reimbursed (1.5k Maplepoints, which is the price of a gach ticket in MSEA)

I don't get why everyone's freaking out so much. People spend just as much money on other hobbies, but I doubt everyone would blowa gasket on someone who spends a God-awful amount on a model car.

Paying for something tangible and intangible makes a big difference. An intangible virtual item such as these just doesn't seem worth it; whereas a model car is tangible and can be displayed and seen by anyone.

lol I can't look at the pic without laughing now. I think at most I'd spend $50 on a weapon, and even then it'd have to be near perfect... atleast six 30%s and some Skittles...

Yep for real.

I would be interested to see what would happen if this was held in the USA. I wonder if people would pay just as much there.

And to what importance does tangibility matter in terms of something that one enjoys? Perhaps you are someone who prefers to have something you can show off to everyone, but it should be understood that not everyone cares about their peers' opinions of their hobbies. Some people find the enjoyment they are able to get out of something to be sufficient, and do not need the approval or gratification of others to be satisfied.

For all we know, these could be some of those people, and criticizing them for paying renewable currency for something they enjoy is petty.

I know someone who spent $1000 ish on a +7 rigbol. Why isn't anyone flaming him or other people who spend tons of money with the mts

Oh right, because there is no real difference.

Look at account sellers. Didn't igfusion when he sold his hermit get like 2.5k for it or something? I remember it being at least the 1k mark.

Yep we probably are, but still, there is no "real" difference.

If you raised $100 of NX onto an account and sold it to someone, how much would it cost? Probably $100. So each and every purcahse you make can be seen as money xfers.

You're right, somewhat. Instead of mapling, go get a job and buy those cards instead. It'll be more efficient.
