I was very skeptical of that claim, especially because they allowed the exchange in the first place. It's not a past event coin.

Same.

They should have just removed the shards from the coin exchange, instead of punishing everyone who has lots of actual past event coins and will now need to brave the lag multiple times to exchange them all.

Speaking of Event Hall lag, I'm also disgusted that the Jewelcrafting Moon Bunny is not being moved out of Event Hall (to Henesys, for example). People have been complaining that the lag makes them unable to approach him, for weeks now. Tiny change that Nexon can't be bothered to implement.

Well, so much for playing today. I hate this new server time.

Why the hell are Tynerum shards even allowed to be exchanged? They've never been currency for past events and I thought that was what this event was about. This is just stupid.

They're a "coin" type item and I guess whoever prepared the list of items for the event didn't really know what they were and just assumed they came from Heroes of Maple or some other event involving Tynerum.

And I guess after the CM's bluster on the subreddit they thought removing the option would lose them more face than limiting the coins.
Either that or removing the option requires a mini-patch so they decided to go for the inferior solution that doesn't require a client patch. (Although I think that things under "talk to Admin" are fully server-sided, including the quest text?)

Bottom line: Nexon's usual incompetence.

Yay, it's over, nearly 3 hours.

Also this stupid message about having to restart cause the client is updated is stupid. I really shouldn't have to launch twice just to play. Oh yay.. the server is too busy to fulfill your request.

Your still allowed to trade tynerum shards.

I'm just going to say this now but DRPQ has never been a place thats entirely stable. I've always had issues doing DRPQ at every point of it's release. I don't expect them to ever actually fix the PQ at all.

While that's true, it was never quite this bad.

Also, the rice cake quests still have Korean names.
*facepalm*
I mean I can sort-of understand if they failed to fix the "trouble logging in" or the DRPQ DC's, since those kinds of bugs can be tricky. But translating a bit of text? They can't even do that right?

Sure glad they extended it just to not fix anything.

There's so many things wrong with this rice cake event. If this was a KMS event at one point this is probably one of the clunkiest ones they've made. I just wish I wasn't forced to turn in the quest every time I reached the goal ESPECIALLY when the UI takes a few seconds to actually update before you can claim the reward.

Did the rice bowl event also have untranslated text when the bowl was complete? I can't quite remember it.

It's pretty much the rice bowl event we had previously in the year.
