Thats what I would say. WS training is simple. Just kill arms while trying not to get hit, then go in the little spot at the bottom and kill both sides. I can't really explain it in words. Its easier to show. Go look at Harrisonized's guide to ws if you need a map. You would use the same movement in the map, just IS instead of misting.

Right so I finally got my warrior to level 30 and am now training my level 17 mage, where should I train to get him to KPQ level and what is recommended KPQ level for mage?

MagicAblu, Kradia, 17, not lukless.

Pig beach always works. Or hpq isn't bad exp.

IMHO, you should restart your magician and make it LUKless.

However, if you wish to keep training it, train on anything you can one-hit-kill (pig beach comes to mind or octopus if you're stronger). All level (21-30) magicians are welcomed in KPQ for their nice damage.

I know. When my warrior was KPQ'ing (always leader) I would jump at the mages when they said J> PQ. Thanks for advice both of you!

Also, I WILL NOT MAKE ANY ACCOUNT ANYTHING-LESS!

The lukless mage differs from teh luk mage in two crucial respects:

1. the Luk mage almost certainly will end up with literally thousands less MP. My luk F/P friend had 11k MP at lvl 155 if I remember correctly. I have 14k at lvl 160. That's a full hit from a newt or skel. If you're a Bishop, that's ONE MORE ULTIMATE, which will add up to a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot in pot money saved.

2. the Lukless mage is much less dependent on equipment; your level-allocated Int makes you powerful, not equipment, and you have less need than Luk mages to get godly equips. I 2hko Newts, and if I take off all my gear I STILL 2hko newts.

There is no logical reason for anyone to make a full-luk mage at this point. If you are still at a low level on your mage, you really should restart.

It's not a matter of pride, it's a matter of maximum efficiency.

He is level 26 now. Or was it 27? Anyway he will be 30 and cleric soon so I thank you for your help. (ALthough I really didnt use it, you just tried to get me to go lukless.) Cya!

Edit: Also, I kinda die a lot and luk saves a lot of exp.

No it doesn't. You lose 5% regardless of how much LUK you have.

Uh if your lukless you lose 10% O.O but that shouldn't be a reason why you would choose luk over lukless. You can always go low luk if you are scared of the 10% loss

What the hell? My LUKless I/L loses 5% on death, and my normal LUK Cleric loses 5% on death. The formula hasn't been 5+20/LUK for a while now, and even if it was, don't you have a ZHelm?

Last time I played gMS, the formula only accounts for base LUK (meaning zhelm is pointless to consider) and base LUK of 4 losses 10% (it might not be as high as 10% but it's definitely not 5%). Go die or something and see.

Last time I played gMS was like August 08 though, mind that.

Well, since your class says Ass, I am not 100% sure what class you are. I can assume that you are an I/L mage since you are asking about ws or kents. Although, I'm not 100% sure. If you are an I/L mage, go to ws. Lots of money and hella good exp!!!!!
I went to Red Kents at about lvl 80.

Nuuuuh, don't look at the info sir! I'm an I/L mage ofcourse!..
Ass = ASSassin hehe
anyways, yeah I tried WS but I can't find a safe sniping spot, help please. And Red Kents semms better to me because I deal more dmg on them/kill faster on them. They both do the same smg really...

Funny: I killed a WS and it dropped an illibie, yay me!

for WS as an I/L mage all you need to do is freeze the mobs and stay in the middle of them in a spot without monsters. Then you alternate between using Ice Strike facing left or right so the monsters don't get knocked back onto you.

My bad, just tested it with a brand new level 8 Magician. Conclusion:

Originally, everyone lost exp equal to 5+20/Total LUK %, regardless of class.

Now, lost exp =
5% for Thieves
7% for Archers
10% for Warriors and Pirates
5+20/Total LUK for Magicians

No idea why they didn't change the formula at all for mages.
