Europe's Servers getting renamed

Today NexonEU made two polls to vote for name change on the servers. From Kradia & Demethos to either: Luna, Elysium, Union, Aurora, Enosis or Arcane. Both pools have the same names.

This confirms my theory of the game merging 100% (a lot of people didn't believe at all on a full merge till today, and some still dont believe :f6:)


What name would you guys choose? Im not a fan of those names, but last time I checked Luna was winning for Kradia, and it was a tie between Luna, Elysium and Enosis for Demethos.

Well, by process of elimination:

- Arcane is too similar to Arcania, which GMS has. Not a good way to avoid confusion.
- Enosis sounds like the name of a disease. Googling shows that it is in fact Greek for "Union" and the name of a political movement of Greek Cypriots. I don't think Maple needs political associations.
- Union sounds silly and will be confused with the server "alliances".

So we are left with Luna, Elysium, and Aurora. Would the denizens of Luna be Lunatics? That sounds like a good reason to vote for it, right there.

Luna, because I'm in it. All the servers exist in Korea.
Surprised that Arcane is an option since Korea recently released that server because of the new Arcane Force system.

Poorly

They havent said a word about that @PirateIzzy. Though my theory is that we going to keep them, and be servers appart from GMS, for example we used to have Supreme server with clones IGN of our characters and It worked just fine. That could also be why there are no plans of characters transfers to GMS servers.

If we get forced to change names would be super broken cause for example my main IGN that has a special caracter on it (Shîon) can't be created on gms and the clear one (Shion) is probably taken long ago. Imagine that for all characters for all accounts. I cannot rethink 38names, and thats only on my main account.

We going to be 2new worlds but they gonna work differently I belive. But I guess we will see.

They'll probably split up EU & NA/Global servers by gateway like in MSEA (though MSEA has merged their SG/MY gateways since then).
Character name pools are separated by gateway. (Example: User with IGN of 'Spaghetti' can exist both in the EU Gateway and NA Gateway).

I expected a server alliance or something boo mybckn is already dead with all those servers

Dementhos

This is the best reason why Demethos really needs a name change.

Ok so just a few hours till the poll is done and seems like Kradia will be changed to Elysium and Demethos to Luna.
