Patch Available - GMS 1.72

Nexon posted a patch for GMS version 171 upgrade to version 172.

You may download this patch from their official site and begin [thread=13610]creating your pre-patcher[/thread] now.

Extractions and database updates will be forthcoming (if supported)!

You'd think Nexon would use the source property for the Sound.wz for the World Tour content since we already have the JMS World Tour BGMs but nope.jpg even when there's no discernible difference between the two.

May 4th, Spring Valley Expedition is an event listed in the patch notes.

No idea what Spring Valley is, other than the fact that it's from JMS (I think) CMS.

I don't remember if JMS got it, but I know CMS tested it on their test servers.
CMS and GMS are basically the same, and whatever comes on CMST usually makes it over to GMS really quickly. (We usually get it on our live servers before they get it on their live servers and sometimes even before their test servers)
At one point, GMS even used the same network encryption method that CMS used (aptly named Shanda (CMS publisher) encryption method).
JMS, CMS, and GMS are pretty similar in terms of the speed that they push out their content. (JMS got the new Zakum last month IIRC)
I suspect we have the same devs as the ones that are working on CMS.

No surprise events after May 31st that are in the Quest text. Although not stated, World Tour event is likely around mid-May. Heroes of Maple patch is likely on June 1st.

KMS' version of Sengoku World Tour is not translated, and neither is the UI for the City Run thing. Either they're just going to use the GMS Ayame that's already in and the untranslated UI is an oopsies, or they're patching mid-May.

I have no idea who these players are, but maybe you do? There are some player designed costumes from China as well.

NXPatcher has always worked flawlessly for me.
If you don't want to use that, Nexon has another prepatcher that they use for the Nexon Launcher.

That link didn't work, but I found the manual patcher on the Nexon site.
Keeps getting stuck on character.wz though. Not a fan of patching, honestly, because of things like this. Hopefully it still works.

Hello, I have not quit yet...this contest happened last year around June. Since it's been so long and no one knows what happened to the contest I assumed I didn't win (there were some really good entries)...but omg...this just made my day XD

Nexon hasn't contacted me at all about this though (literally just checked my email)...maybe I'll have to wait for an official announcement or something...

I can't wait to see those in game (and potentially spend all my money trying to get a set for myself )

They probably haven't forgotten about you. Keep in mind that this was datamined, so they will most likely release this in the near future.
Maybe it's a good idea to send a reminder to the current Community Manager about this?
