New GMS exclusive content soon?
#61
I feel urged to say "hopefully this will bring a Crimsonheart job" (given its 5 jobs into 1) but then I remember both Jett and BT and while they both look and play sweetly to an extent they both got many flaws. IDK lets see.

That actually might be a cool concept. Switching between weapon types (like Kai in Vindictus, but with 5 weapons).
Actually, now that I think of it. It kinda sounds like Beast Tamer. Lol. But definitely a cool idea.

That too. You could also argue that it's Xenon with the modes, as well.

If it was done right it could be cool. Maybe instead of modes using different attacks will activte different stances. Then you can combo these stances together or something.

EDIT: I guess that also sounds like DawnWarrior. Hm..

Grey Wrote:So, anyway, it looks like so far, some of the story changes include Subani and Naricain being siblings, and the children of Christopher Crimsonheart, at least from what I infer from the picture from after the JQ stream and the update highlights which have a picture of the longer-haired blue-haired sibling juxtaposed with a description of Naricain.

Going back to this image:

I only recognized Lukan, Christopher Crimsonheart, and Subani, but apparently Delgrund and Lireni are also pre-existing characters.

According to Isaac:
Delgrund
A former Magician Grandmaster, who preceded Rafael. Since it was stated that the Grandmaster Mage was responsible for the creation of the Mystic Astrolabe, we can assume it was him (Though Delgrund is a somewhat masculine name and the mystic astrolabe seems to imply a female). Not much else is known about him aside from his name at this time.

Lireni
Lireni was a Shadowknight heroine who led many of the dangerous missions to attempt to retake the keep. She was the one who discovered that the Krakians were being manipulated by the Alchemist, but they never wrote down whether they knew who he was.

Interesting. If they were able to keep small details like this, maybe there's hope yet.

I wonder how much they used Isaac's compendium in creating this content, or if NXProses' old notes were still around.

I was thinking of something more like Zero, reliant on comboing abilities for maximun DPS, except these abilities go through all 5 branches, like push them forward with a sword attack, then use an assaulter like skill to move yourself to the enemy, then use a kinesis like skill to throw them airbone, then shot them down with an arrow skill, then do a backflip and throw some shurikens... like that?

Problem with these jobs is people always hates them if they don't work so well when bossing, to fix that just give them a hurricane-like skill (Rolleyes).

I'm sure something unique can be made out of the concept

Maybe they can delete jett and take that spot for a crimsonheart class instead.

I don't understand this "Jett is bad" meme. It's a brawler and a slinger in one, and it uses no bullets. Literally the only problem with it is the skills that cause disconnects.

When Jett first came out I liked the idea that maybe Jett was the answer to people who did not like the pirate revamps and maybe GMS, CMS etc whoever got Jett(or dragon warrior) would take the revamps in another direction. I liked Jett's theme. I love space. I'm a history major with a second major in Astronomy and minor in education. After she got Revamped I liked what they did. She became "unique" in a sense. She's one of those clases that I've always just kind of enjoyed. She has really pretty skills and some of them are a lot of fun to mess around with and I can't lie there's a satisfaction to a 10 hit final attack. She just needs a few tweaks and she has the potential to be one of the best classes in the game.

I haven't played Jett in a really long time, but assuming they still have the mobility they had on release moving super fast and jumping around like crazy was very fun.

I think Jetts only problem is that some skills are useless, She is suffering the same problem Night Lords had before many reworks. It already is one of the best looking jobs in my opinion. All it needs are some adjustments like SwordStaker said so that some skills are usefull alongsinde the ones that already work

More damage to all starline skills in exchange of that useless "combo" feature, replace vortex cross for something that doesn't overlap with Starline, more damage to Turret, change falling stars so it works like Mercede's leap tornado... oh and give it actual bullets and not arrows. That'd be a good start. BTW I hate what Japan did to Planet Buster, I dont care if you deal 10 times the damage, being able to use it every 3 seconds added great diversity to its playstyle while also being its only ranged mobbing ability.

Even with all of the melodrama about fudged game mechanics and other missteps, I think I can say with confidence that anything related to Masteria is a near automatic win.
