New GMS exclusive content soon?

Am I the only creeped out by the faces in all the new art work? Those expressions are super weird and remind me of the Mushroom Kingdom shenanigans...

Yeah, I don't like the new artwork characters. They look like MapleStory fan-art, rather than official art. Even the ugly Kinesis-face-for-everyone art still looked like MapleStory, just repetitive. This... does not look right at all.



I also don't like how the guy at the bottom left looks like an Aurora priest.
Not all evil in the world must come from Satan the Black Mage.
Masteria's story could be whole, should be whole, without bringing that in.

Only 2 of them showing eyes makes me think only 2 out of the 5 kids will be part of this update.

According to the video, the short haired blue kid is Subani.

It's really annoying that I actually wanna install gMS just to do this Masteria through Time stuff.

I haven't played Maple Story in almost 5 years.

Crimsonheart was supposed to be the only person ever to conquer all 5 disciplines and make his own fighting style. I really hope this version of it makes justice to that legend.

The statue they pan across in the video when they talk about Christopher Crimsonheart has a gun, throwing knives, and a grimoire/tome. It's just the bottom half, but he might have also a sword and a bow strapped to his back. It's feasible that even if you mastered all 5 disciplines you're not going to be wearing all the weapons all the time.

No, I added a picture in the above post. You can see it's not that multi-armed guy from the Keep, especially since some of the weapons, or rather, representations of each class, are different.

A... are you seriously judging him because of a single moment? Maybe he prefers one weapon to another? Maybe he just felt like using a sword right at that moment - why are you looking for reasons to talk down on the content already when you've seen none of it?

So, anyway, it looks like so far, some of the story changes include Subani and Naricain being siblings, and the children of Christopher Crimsonheart, at least from what I infer from the picture from after the JQ stream and the update highlights which have a picture of the longer-haired blue-haired sibling juxtaposed with a description of Naricain.

I only recognized Lukan, Christopher Crimsonheart, and Subani, but apparently Delgrund and Lireni are also pre-existing characters.

Delgrund
A former Magician Grandmaster, who preceded Rafael. Since it was stated that the Grandmaster Mage was responsible for the creation of the Mystic Astrolabe, we can assume it was him (Though Delgrund is a somewhat masculine name and the mystic astrolabe seems to imply a female). Not much else is known about him aside from his name at this time.

Lireni
Lireni was a Shadowknight heroine who led many of the dangerous missions to attempt to retake the keep. She was the one who discovered that the Krakians were being manipulated by the Alchemist, but they never wrote down whether they knew who he was.

I wonder if anyone is able to contact Isaac and let him know about this.
