Make MapleStory Great Again

Much of what ruins this game comes about from automatic log-in. Clientless bots, or just regular bots, whatever it may be, run rampant. they are the first ones to get on the servers (and nab those nifty fm spots you wanted). They farm mesos and equips (and most of the accounts come from CHINA), rapidly devaluing both; that's right, our economy disrupted by inhuman, foreign competition!
And it's sometimes hard to track them down, because often they employ a "hide mode" when spotted that involves disconnecting, and after a delay, reconnecting and resuming the work.

So, we need a wall of sorts to keep these thieves out. A good, beautiful wall in the form of some aesthetically-pleasing CAPTCHA that must be completed in order to get in to the game. A sophisticated one that can't be spoofed.

Hundreds of Blaze Wizards are being made per day. Hundreds of hackers, botters, farmers, and some I assume, are legit people. But I've spoken to volunteer map patrollers, and they tell us what they are getting. I am calling for a complete and total shutdown the creation of new Blaze Wizards completely until the programmers can figure out what the hell is going on. We have no choice.

I would say the maple programing might be a mess, so fixing buging isn't that easy, most bugs can be fixed?
But i know that hackers might always live with maple, they were since the beginning, it's kind hard to simply make it vanish
I would say it's easyer to make people not have reasons to use hacks, and also not buy meso at all from sites, would decrease the hackers and also benefit the game;at least for maple, we might leave with hackers for a while, maybe the game could be less hacked but idk it's true situacion in the codes.

you can't at this point.
nexon's already set the precedent that they have no idea how to stop hackers and the game was so poorly coded in its creation, combined with 11 years of doing absolutely nothing to improve upon that has doomed maple story to be a hacker paradise.

From my experience, Korean MMOs are near-universally terribly coded, especially ones that were made nearly 15 (!!) years ago.

In other words... These guys in charge, they don't know what they're doing. They're losers! They don't know anything! I know how to make deals, and I'll drive the hackers away with a hard bargain. Those losers in charge, though... Bad!

Basicaly they would need to re-code most of the game , imagine the money and time this would require , i wonder if nexon would risk that.

I agree with this but back home(korea) they don't need all those extra levels of protection since if I'm not mistaken they only have to deal with bots and just simple bots, not bots that mess with how the game works and the amount of people they have as GMs keeps them at bay, of course there are going to still be some but they're not everywhere fucking up other peoples fun.

Meanwhile over here, people don't just bot they almost break the game just to get a piece of gear they'll later sell to someone thats gonna pay lots making sure the hackers keep up doing such things meanwhile the publisher doesn't see it as being good for business to pay and train GMs(enough of them).
