My effect.wz is 7,986kb (8,176,938 bytes) This seems to be going no where hmm.. Why can some people like me open the egg but not the pendant and other open all or none.

There are two etcs one the pendant, though... if you are trying to click the cordless one... it's not that one. Talk to moneybags for the other.

Here's the thing - the sizes could be the same and the contents of each WZ file could be different.

For example, if the name of the UI object for the egg is called "oobjet" rather than "object", it consumes the same amount of bytes, yet one will show the UI and one will not. If I have time, I'll look at this more when I get home (don't get home for 5 hours yet )

Meanwhile, I'm trying to install maple on another pc... Just to try it. An old pc that isn't even a laptop. Even though it crashes at ANY town in channel 1... :p

I ran a hash checker (SHA-1 and MD5) on the one Kater sent me (she said hers didn't work). It gives identical hashes to the WZ file that I have, and I know mine is working.

According to haha's extraction there are duplicate entries of the egg you receive from that quest in data... any chance it's random and they get a glitched egg?

You can hatch a chick and a duck. The Poultry isn't too happy when she finds out it is a duck instead of a chick.

I think it's worth less or something.

So yes, there has to be 2 different eggs, or at least 2 different outcomes which would still have to do something with it.

Maybe check around that area?

Uhm... It happened to me in the same account, on two different PCs. The third wasn't even ABLE to install maple :p

than press OK.
