Really hoping they put some ninja bug fixes in there, otherwise that's extremely disappointing.

There will be no scheduled maintenance for the week of December 20th - December 26th, or for the week of December 27th - January 2nd. Please note that this is for scheduled (planned) maintenance, and, in the event of any emergencies, we will have teams at the ready to take charge for any unscheduled maintenance that may come about over the holiday break.

LOL they didn't fix the exploit but they're tradeblocking and perm banning.....after 2 days

Doesn't require any hacking tool to do the exploit and can do like 4200 red cubes per hour without hacking tools too.

To clarify: "In all world" meant it was do-able in all worlds (unlike the reboot one from a few weeks back). It doesn't mean all worlds had participants

Maybe they don't know how it's being done?
They ban because they can see accounts using/acquiring cubes and not paying for them, but they haven't figured out where the exploit is so they can't patch it.

Either way this sounds more incompetent than Nexon's usual.

It's way too uncharacteristic of Nexon even if they're exceedingly incompetent

Typically even if they don't know how it's done, they would at least take the server down until they figure out how it's done especially when it's game breaking like this. Also, there are many aspects of the exploit that gives the method away.....quantity of cubes.....the actions of the characters.....item used...etc

A general timeline:
Saturday afternoon-Exploit found
Monday 11:15 AM-All exploiters permanently banned and no actions taken against mule accounts that held the items (Exploit not patched)
Tuesday 10:30 AM-All exploiters permanently banned and no actions taken against mule accounts that held the items (Exploit not patched)
Tuesday 7:00 PM-Most of the mule accounts that made contact with exploiters between Saturday and Monday are tradeblocked (Some were only tradeblocked after relogging so friends were able to tell each other about that and move items off then relog). Exploit still not patched

Right now (Tuesday 9:30 PM)-Exploit not patched and tradeblock is still unsuccessful

I bet that even you (just learning about this) can figure out a least what's being exploited from just that information

All of them, including reboot.

It's a method that's been around for years and Nexon has attempted to fix before. I remember telling Artasi about it while I was in MLC, among other exploits.
Last I checked a few weeks ago, everything I reported is not patched and still works. Quality company.
