ShinkuDragon Wrote:well makes sense to introduce a resistance warrior since demon slayer isn't "resistance-trained" in the same way xenon is a resistance thief because he allied with them, rather than trained.

i won't even touch his "warrior" skills, but as said before resistance seem to like to be hipsters and leave the standard class paradigm off the three classes we have.

I think the resistance are all just steampunk inspired classes.

they do have that look going but their skills not so much, except for the amount of "gears" but well, we've had weirder concepts, like a pirate "tank"

Well you have to keep in mind, before big bang Buccaneers were the masters of avoid. 1 DEX was worth more Avoid than 1 LUK. It's really safe to say they have no idea how classes fit thematically.

I think Mechanic and Wild Hunter have a large technological aspect to their skills, and now Blaster too. It's really just Battle Mage that doesn't match.

Well I have a mixed point of view, It was confirmed that Elex is the warrior instructor ages ago, on the other hand we do have Demon but it's somewhat arguable whether or not he is an actual Resistance since he is his own person (Ex-commander) and not an original citizen of edelstein.

Blaster is one boring class in my opinion.

I can tell. From looking at it, I can feel that this is one of those "out of the blue" type of deals.

Fourth job advancement. I like Kinesis more than this class.

Yea, talk about monotonous. I can't tell the difference between 1st to 4th jobs Blaster. Is this another one of those classes that relies on first job skills that gets upgraded later on?

At least the Psychic has some variance.

There is a 1st job skill named Revolving Cannon that you have to use to charge your cylinder to use Release Pile Bunker, another 1st job skill. Every job advancement has an upgrade passive to improve the skill's utility and damage.

SaptaZapta Wrote:Rumor has it that Nexon top command has instucted all games to release a new class pronto.
Apparently they want to make a new game that is a crossover between all their games and it will have these new classes as representatives of their respective games. (Why they can't take some iconic class from each game is beyond me).
Hence this new class, which was the fastest thing they could throw together (as it needs no new story, being a Citizen, and is called a warrior because Elex was free), as well as the surprise new class in MapleStory 2.

Well Vindictus just got a new character released into the test servers that was pretty much fast tracked in. Only a 4 month gap from the previous new character, so that was mind-boggling to us players.

Isn't that the mech 150 hyper? Or is that just a placeholder?

So that'd explain the Lancer in DFO, and a DFO crossover chara in Elsword.

So are they meant to use that hurricane attack that pulls to boss..? Cause it looks terrible and seriously their low HP is intense.

Meh, if all they wanted was a quick job to use as represetative in some other game, with no real ties to the main game, why not using one of the foreigner jobs like Sengoku/Jett/Beast tamer?. Beast Tamer has it all going for her to represent MapleStory as a whole, all it needs is KMS' touch to fix it up and make it good for more than buffing.

Change Bear for a Yeti, Cat for a Mushroom, White tiger for a Wild Cargo and hawk for a... wyvern? and you're freaking set.

Wow they really phoned that one in. Perhaps once it has received its 5th or 6th skill revamp it might be more interesting.

That said people continually told me how trash Eunwol/Shade was and I actually enjoyed that class a lot.

Story wise though why would you even need Blaster surely they are just the poor man's mechanic.
