They probably saw an influx of users, the CCU probably reached numbers it hasn't touched in years (Reboot is pineappleing packed as hell) and saw it as a good opportunity to hopefully hit a new record for the CCU. IIRC, the record for GMS was 136k during Big Bang.

The Hot Time rewards are pomegranatety though. It's not even good at all. Who the hell really wants a Santa Costume that bad, especially if it expires in 7 days(woops, it's the coupon that expires)?

And it's not just the fact that its just a clean slate scroll too. It's a pure clean slate which if I remember correctly, restores all slots. (Then again I've been told otherwise)

I don't know about the 100% scroll, but the description of the 5% "Pure Clean Slate" we can get from attendance says "Restores 1 previously lost upgrade slot."

I think the "Pure" just means "no-boom" (because there are 5% clean slates in game that can destory items), but it's a bit meaningless on a 100% scroll. So I don't know.

I don't get the 1000 spell traces for Reboot, its just an indirect way of giving us money. Might as well replace it with a second Meso sack.

Hope they got what they wanted with the hot time during 2x, because this is so unplayably laggy right now. :v

I got 3.4m from the Meso Sack. Better than I thought, I thought I was going to get <1m.
